I actually went there today for the 4th of July. My kids just wanted to have fun and enjoy the pool.
They did the swimming test to go on the slide which is almost never open.
They did the test and my son failed on the doggie paddle test.
The staff didn't give him a second chance. l went to the front desk and ask for manager on duty and there were no one.
They asked me to come back on Friday and talk to the GM which is very stupid if since we wanted to have fun on 4th July. How am I supposed going to comeback on Friday.
My son was crying and angry and l was very frustrated because there was nothing that l could do.
We are paying the membership just for the pool, l don't need the gym only the pool which is is only open to the public for a few hours on the weekend and during the week it is one or two hours. The slide is always closed.
We are YMCA members since 2012 and we are part of the community. My son had swimming classes there, but it didn't matter to them. It is very unfair that the day that you want to have fun, they say that there is no manager on duty, and they tell you to comeback or call on Saturday and talk to DANIEL RANGEL.
They don't care about customer satisfaction, no exceptions, they just want your money to be there for the time the transaccion and if it is not, they charge a fee.
But that's all the YMCA care about it. If you are happy or your kids are happy, that doesn't matter to them.
