I added Plex to my workout regimen and am so glad I did. It's clear that my strength and conditioning have improved greatly and I feel great for it. My favorite thing about Plex is that the workouts are always different. I'm amazed at at the full body workout I get every single time, and more importantly, that it's safe. I'm never hurt or doing something that would cause me damage. I have full trust that Plex has my best interest in mind when it comes to working out. Danny Arnold, the owner, knows his stuff and his experience in this field gives athletes and non-athletes alike the confidence that this is where they should be.
The atmosphere at Plex is supportive, fun and inclusive--whether you're an athlete, a young kid, a middle-aged mom or a even a grandfather, everyone feels encouraged and supported by the staff and the others working out. When an NFL player shouts some encouraging words your way, it really pushes you to do better!
I learned about Plex through boxing. My husband and I occasionally work together (writer, photographer) to cover boxing and we visited Plex when Ronnie Shields began training his fighters there. I got a behind-the-scenes view so to speak of the boxing program and was very impressed. A boxer's conditioning is very important, and it was easy to see that the fighters who were all in at Plex saw benefits in the ring, and the fighters who weren't got tired during their fights. Danny works with many professional athletes from all across the country and all types of sports. The fact that athletes travel to Plex during their off seasons says a lot.
