I love Lifetime Amenities, classes and the staff. However, my credit card information was stolen from their records and was used by someone else who I did not know to pay there membership for two months until I finally do the extra charges and had to cancel the card. Lifetime did nothing to help me and said everything had to be done by the bank even when my personal information was stolen from their records. Check your monthly statements would be my only advice

I went in to cancel my membership due to a medical issue, and found out the hard way that Patricia Dennis lies, and says anything to have you maintain your membership at this club. I was told that with a doctor's note, the membership could be placed on hold, indefinitely, with no penalty, until I was ready to come back. I also placed all of this in writing to her, to document our understanding. Do not trust anything they say regarding payments and commitments. They don't respond in writing on purpose, and ask you to sign without reading what you are signing. Not only do they do not respond to e mail, but also phone messages. I have left 3 messages in 3 days for Rajshad the club manager, and have not recieved a return phone call. Olivia is the only one in management who seems to keep her word, and treat clients with the respect they deserve.
I ended up stuck with $150 charge I was told initially that I would not have, because my membership would have been on hold "indefinitely".
I have been a member here for a few years. Despite it being a top level club, the experience here was always subpar, compared to their other clubs in Garland, Plano, Colleyville, and Ft. Worth...which I have all been to and worked out at. The staff claim it is because they inherited many issues from the previous property tenant. These issues are substantial, including sewage leaks into the entire shower, bathroom and locker room area, and drain flies carrying bacteria and disease living in their pipes. They should be reported to the department of health. Equipment is frequently sweaty and gross, and in the free weight section, weights are frequently left in place. During aerobics classes, the entire ceiling bounces, the TV's in the treadmill section are usually broken, and there is no adequate audio feed. Classes are frequently held in a manner in which they interfere with others as well.
Join another club. Equinox, although expensive, is likely a much better experience, 24 hour, or even LA fitness is probably better as well.

Been a member here for 8 years and this place rocks ! It is very well maintained, constantly getting new equipment, has incredible free classes, awesome friendly staff and trainers, complimentary child-care services, a delicious healthy and fresh onsite restaurant, and spa services. This is a hidden gym across from SMU at 75 and Mockingbird.

Nice club so far, if you do sign up I would not recommend scheduling your "on-boarding session". It was a waste of time! Other than that- classes are great!
Their lower lower levels (platinum and lower) are better facilities and service. Only perk of this club is it tends to be cleaner in the locker room.
Very regretful to have signed up with this location. If I moved closer to downtown I would find another gym or use classpass.

Totally worth the few extra membership bucks!!!!! The trainers are very knowledgeable and everyone is really good about wiping the machines after themselves. The up-keep staff never slacks.

Love this gym! Staff is always friendly and coming here is very motivating.
I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews on here. I switched over from another name brand gym in the area and Lifetime was a significant improvement. The facilities are clean, the staff is super friendly and courteous and the equipment is top notch. If you do any type of Olympic style lifts, they have high quality barbells and Olympic bumper plates with four different squat racks along with your standard gym equipment. This facility far exceeds any of the big box competitors in the area.

They make it so easy and convenient to sign up online, but when you want to cancel they don't let you email or call you have to come in.
Its really not worth the price , you are paying way over $110 for facilities and amenities similar to any LA fitness that is about %75 percent less on price in monthly dues. i just don't see the added value for the extra money
The men's locker room is not very big and your always really close to your neighbor all the time especially during peak hours it is hard to get dressed. Its real only asset is its location if you work nearby.
Personal training is extremely overpriced as well, the perceived added value is what they are charging you for.
DISGRACE!! I have emailed the managers 4 separate times over the last 2 months to try and cancel my membership. As I explained to them i now live on the other side of the world so it is not feasible to "call into one of our locations" or "send a registered letter". We live in the 21st century were an email should suffice. They are thieves trying to squeeze every last penny they can get. I even went to my bank to stop the payments from my account and they sent a letter on my behalf but this didn't work either. I would not recommend this sorry excuse for an establishment to my worst enemy.

I have been a member at this gym for many years, even before it was Lifetime. I have become less enchanted with it over the last few years. I have been told to get off of a machine by a trainer because she was training people. Though it wasn't reserved. Never received an apology even after speaking to the manager. The manager's don't know anyone by name. Machines are removed that everyone uses and never brought back. The locker rooms are disgusting most of the time. Lockers are NEVER wiped out, always hair and dirt in them. Hand towels are always dirty, counters never wiped down, showers smell and the whole wet area smells like sewage. Yet they have raised the rate three times in a year. It is one of the most expensive LTF locations and offers the very least for the price. Its because it is by Highland Park. No pool, no rock climbing wall, the TVs on the cardio machines are hit or miss as to working. You can email them as a response to an email from an individual at the club, as to be expected no response is ever received.
Just join LA Fitness and have all the amenities and pay $40 a month. Join LTF and pay $130-$145 a month and deal with a dirty locker room etc and management that doesn't really care, as well as no pool, etc.
Terrible service from the management staff. I have tried to get billing on my credit card resolved for 60 days and I have not heard back from the manager or assistant manager. I definitely advise to check other options in which they make the members a priority, not even a follow up call from them to apologize. I'm really surprised with the standard of customer serviced offered by the leaders at this location.
Facility, not well maintain either, bathrooms/sauna/steam shower were not well kept with very low supervision in the evenings.
Convenient place to work out. Well equipped and friendly staff. From time to time machines stop working and they take time to fix them. Rotation is normal for personal trainers and the spa is great
I will never recommend Lifetime - Plano to anyone. They are money hungry cheats of the first order. We signed a one year contract and wanted to cancel when the contract was up. They continued to charge my credit card despite being told to cancel. They will try to extort the last drop out of you with excuses to read the fine print. Even the reminder follow -up for cancelling the membership is misleading . The account managers purposely avoid you until the 5th day to get you charged for the next month. Just stay away from that gym and never give your credit card information to them. I will recommend LA fitness or 24 hr - been a member of both and was never ripped off like Lifetime.
Need. More. Bobbies. !!!!! There's not enough of Bobbie Williams to go around!!! Don't know how she does it ALL but her classes are ridiculously well thought out, with YOUR BODY GOALS in mind; it's inspired stuff! I take classes I would've NEVER taken ina million years at other locations because she makes them targeted and effective.
