Extremely hard to access - need to get parking validated every time.
The location is closing very soon and the nearest is the Kessler location.
When just starting to use the facility my husband and I most defiantly loved the view of the city and could deal with the strange parking situation. As time went on though we started to notice machines that were out of order constantly or the hot tub looking disgusting. Then I was followed around by an employee while looking at the merchandise I'm assuming because they thought I was going to steal rather than helping me find what I was looking for. Also during closing time I was waiting for my husband in the lobby (simply sitting there) and was told to "leave it's time to close" (which I can understand) but I then explained that my husband would be right out and asked if I could simply wait here since the only place to go was the parking garage and I told him I would be in the lobby, the employee then started to tell me again that I needed to go, thankfully my husband was coming out that very moment and I didn't have to see how that situation would have ended. LASTLY, when I finally called in to cancel my membership it was a very quick process but was still CHARGED AGAIN the next month and had to call a month later explain the situation to a manager which she said that no one at the front desk would have been able to cancel a membership, only a manager could have done it. I was not refunded the extra month they stole from me because of a incompetent employee. Just know that your money is going to waste at this location.
Not sure if this is an old location but the machines could definitely use an update. I don't complain much about the restrooms but it could use a good update also.
As many others have said the locker rooms and bathrooms are pretty dingy and in need of an overhaul. There were several signs in the parking garage saying that parking for 24 Hour Fitness members was free for up to 2.5 hours but the cashier still made me pay $10 to leave after only parking there for just under 2 hours. Equipment was generally worn out with limited machine options and there were pins missing from several machines I wanted to use. The whole place was poorly lit too despite the natural light from the overhead windows. I would not recommend this location.
Fairly typical 24 hour fitness, unfortunately. Old old equipment, non existent staff, dirty falling apart locker room. Why is it that 24 hour fitness doesn't stop building new gyms and fix up and repair the ones they already have? Very sad and unbelievable.
Great location, not kept up at all. With some TLC this place would be awesome but it doesn't seem like that's happening anytime soon.

The weights are all used up. No way to grip the smith machines or bars. The machines are missing pins to hold weight. Its dirty. The employees do not even care or have information on if they ever will have new equipment, they are just stuck looking down at their phone and wores they're not even working.
Great gym: large free weight area and large aerobic area. Additionally, there is a cycling room, a large room for classes, and a couple smaller side rooms to work out. Beware: The sauna has palmetto bugs. Locker rooms are typically clean. The urinals (on the first and second floor) are always in need to cleaning.

You can get some work done, but the showers are extremely dirty and most of the equipment is old!!!!!AF!!! Serious upgrade needed. never will I make the mistake of showering (trying to anyway) there again. Locker room is dirty. The only good things are the staff, they are the only one I know of with a track, they just got new stair masters, and its convenient if you work downtown.
Love the view of the City. However definetely needs work inside. I had higher expectations for the condition of the inside of the building. For this to be in the heart of the city it's not what I expected. Staff was great! When will the steam room be fixed?
The one on royal lane is much better. I only go to this one because its so close to my job. They need new machines, its dark and dreary, and too cold.
It's getting better over time. The building is really what needs some work. I understand the management of the gym can't do much about to lease.
Cool location on the 10th floor, which also happens to be the top of the building. They have lots of glass around the perimeter of the building allowing you to see some pretty awesokme views of downtown Dallas. They offer lots of a equipment and a small track running around the facility. They could definitely use some updating to the wet area though
Love coming here but they have some things to fix like their clock , and men's restroom downstairs. Nice staff.
Since moving to Texas almost 3 years ago I have frequented many local 24 hour fitness facilities. Out of the many I have gone to and used, this one by far has a lot of upgrades due to it. Being located in the heart of downtown Dallas and wanting to cater to business professionals and a uptown type of clientele, this gym has a huge opportunity from overall look and feel, to equipment, to also new staff. Corporate should come in and give this place a makeover asap. Lots of competition in downtown Dallas. A good vision of how a 24 hour should look is in Frisco and Southlake!!!
Just read every single word in the paper when you sign up the contract. They will say you this and that but trust me the sales associate after they sell you the membership afer that you will realize what are they doing. From the club to corporate they are all discusting. As a business point of view one of the worst corporate i talked to. Hopefully, 24 hours fitness will do great job in future to their customer. Never going to do this mistake again.
This location is only average. The WiFi NEVER works and the machines are old and largely unkept.
All in all, very good for the price--Barre each week for the price of one Barre class! And it's right downtown (near work, so you can work out earlier and then commute after at non-peak traffic hours).
Great downtown location (10th floor of the garage!). Nice spin class w/ a positive instructor, and the class was at the same time as listed on the website (not like Irving location :/ )
Front desk staff were nice and helpful; one guy even ran me downstairs to show me the classroom and make sure it wasn't too late to get in.
The view from the hot tub (next to saunas) or the indoor running track below is some skyscrapers in downtown Dallas. Pretty posh way to unwind post workout, esp. for $34/a mo!
Hot tub jets didn't come on, though. Drinking fountains near class were both broken too, and I had to hit the little locker lever pretty hard to get it to unstick so I could open/close. Seems like they need some small maintenance. All in all a good deal and good place to workout.
This place is ok because although it's very big the facility is not yet cleanest. There seems to always be a problem with the plumbing and the employees are not as professional as can be.
I am a fan of 24 Hour Fitness. It has become my home away from home. Very clean.
