Great gym set up that is different than anything else in town. They have a full indoor turf field to do bootcamps on with an excellent weight room as well. It is the most athletic workout that I have tried and is alot of fun to compete and encourage eachother as a group! Definitely recommend trying a class. Also, they have done a very good job responding to COVID and making space for each of us and giving us a safe/clean experience!

With there being sooo many gyms to choose from in the BCS area, you have to really check them all out to make sure not only where you are going to commit your money to but which one is best equipped to help achieve your personal fitness goals.

For my goals I wanted a places that was mainly classes so you have a staff that helps you pushes you and holds you accountable. So I checked out all the crossfire gyms in BCS and Orangetheory fitness.

After checking out all of them I was completely blown away by the staff. They always used my name, would check up on me and everyone else around me and had relationships with all the members in the place. By far and away the coaches at D1 are the best in the BCS.

Now the facility is a whole other beast. The full turf field is perfect for doing boot camp classes, speed and agility drills and pretty much everything you could possibly want to do. Next to the turf field are garage doors that they open all the time giving that crossfit sort of feel. Their weight equipment is the best in the BCS. They seriously have the quality of bench racks and squat racks that you would find at an NFL or college weight room.

So in the end, all the D1 staff are coaches, while some of the gyms like Orangetheory or Golds have a ton of staff memebers that are just sales people and that's their primary concern: making you their next sale. The D1 coaches were all energetic, personable and friendly and genuinely care about helping you achieve your fitness goals. The facility is the nicest in the BCS and it's not even close. The price for the unlimited classes of your choice are comparable to Orangetheory and most of the crossfit gyms. So after checking all of them out and experiencing my first boot camp with them today (which felt amazing to get completely smoked) I'm excited to say I've decided on a gym to sign up with starting in August and I'm happy to say I feel relived to know I picked the best staff and most equipped facility in D1.

EDIT: In the past five weeks of attending D1 bootcamp, I have now gone from 206 lbs. to now 187 lbs.

I was very excited to get a D1 sports training center in the BCS area and even more excited when it was endorsed by Von Miller. However, this was all smoke and mirrors and was completely let down by this establishment. I have herd that other locations are amazing but this one is far from it. They offer very little and charge a lot, which is mind blowing. They steal the idea of the WOD from crossfit who should sue them and offer classes which are not customized and disoginized. The staff could care less and only give advise if they think your ready for fork over 150.00 per month to attend this terrible gym, if you could even call it that. The bottom line Aggies is stay away and save your time and money. There is many other gyms in the area which will offer a lot more for much less!

D1 sports is the most functional training center in the Brazos Valley. Having access to a turf field and a professional quality weightlifting gym all in one center makes combining speed and agility work with strength and conditioning training so much more efficient. All of the instructors and coaches stay true to their job of correcting form and technique consistently through each workout. They always have music blasting and it's a group of people who can focus and grind through the workout and turn right around and be sociable and make jokes. D1 sports offers everything that a gym is meant to be with clean showers, lockers, and even fresh towel service. This is

THIS PLACE ROCKS. Coaches are knowledgeable and motivating. Gym is centered on strength-training or bootcamp style classes. Separate classes meet each day for adults, smaller kids, or high school athletes looking to step it up a notch. There are open hours for those who would prefer to lift on their own, but daily bootcamp classes kick my butt, and the staff's encouraging attitudes keep me coming back.
