I liked this gym but had to cancel my membership due to having asthma and being higher risk to CV. I had paid $160 and went for 2 weeks :( . No partial refund given. I asked to put my membership on hold and was also told I have to pay $15 a month till I re open it. No communication response though email about this. I expect better response time and customer support. I have been a lifetime member for many years. Unfortunate..
Decent price for the great amenities. And the gym isn't crazy busy, which makes for a nice workout!
I enjoy this gym each time I go. It has all the equipment you could possibly need for a thorough workout. It has lots of classes available throughout the week. The locker room and showers are clean and nice. There is a dry sauna, a steam room, and a good-sized pool. Towel service and many other things. Don't let the picky people with the low ratings fool you, this is a nice gym.
Every Saturday morning the same trainer blocks half the squat racks to teach his class. POOR GYM ETIQUETTE! A trainer should know better and be respectful of the other members! Not this trainer his attitude is his class is the only class that matters and the rest of the people in the gym be damned! UNNACCEPTABLE! If you are looking for a great gym Lifetime is good but the training staff is rude and completely inept.
Good people. As soon as you walk in I was greeted with the smile by the two people at the desk. I made a left and again greeted with a smile by the guy folding towels. I went to locker room saw a guy in there keeping the place clean. I walked into the weight room and a few personal trainers were kind enough to at least acknowledged my existence. W/ a smile or nod; something even some of the fancier clubs fail to do. The swimming pool & hot tub were not crowded both of which was appealing to considering that is the primary reason. my lifetime doesn't have a pool. Thank you very much for making me feel welcome.
Very unhappy and was mislead at sign up! I was told that there would be $200 added to my account if I payed the enrollment fee instead of having them waive it. What they didn't tell me is that the $200 applies to an account at the gym that can only be used for certain things, and the cafe (only place I would use it) is not included. I asked specifically about freezing my account as I travel for work and was told I could do that at any time. What they didn't tell me was I had to do it 30 days prior. I called to freeze it and I was told the were freezing it but I would still be charged. Hmmmm. Ok. I was told I had to cancel 30 days in advance, but not freeze or put it on hold. I know the gym doesn't care. They already have my money from September. I wish I would have known the $200 wasn't going towards my membership (VERY MISLEADING HERE) as I would have just had them waive the enrollment fee. I'm very upset that I'm out that money and am sure they aren't going to make it right. I do have to say that Jen, the yoga director, is awesome!
Love love this place! Beautiful inside and love the high ceilings. Hot yoga is my fav and this place makes it easy for beginners and advance alike. Totally worth every penny! Clean and friendly front desk staff and super legit instructors.
I just moved to this area and for a while I was concerned after reading some of the reviews however I have to say in my experience I have yet to find anything wrong with this gym. Staff is always helpful, fresh clean towels always stocked and everything in the gym is neat and clean to the extent we can expect with gymmers picking things up and putting them in the wrong places all the time. The price is up there which would be the only complaint but that is not a direct reflection of this specific business place, thats on the corporate company.

I have been a member of many gyms over the years and I must say that Lifetime is one of the best, if not the best I have ever experienced. The facility is sleek, the equipment is plentiful and in great shape, and the staff are extremely friendly. Demarcus, the Sales Manager, was informative and helpful, but not pushy at all. The trainers are very professional and approachable. Our kids love the children's center, where they will watch them for 2-3 hours (they even have date nights for parents). Amenities include towel service, including cold towels, a café, and spa. Finally, the price is a fraction of what other "luxury" facilities charge. We will not be leaving anytime soon.

I joined Lifetime in July because I was tired of lifetime fitness. BEST switch I could've done. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Corey B and Jay. They are the absolute best. They are serious about fitness and about making sure people reach there individual goals. Both are awesome trainers. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for an amazing gym. Everything is ALWAYS clean (equipment, showers, ect).

I have been a member forever! I pay more for this gym because I do not want to wait on machines, be without towels, hear weights banging, or walk a mile for parking, The #1 reason I pay more is because it delivers a quality of people who are willing to pay more for a gym experience. I knew there were Lifetimes that had more ammenties, but I chose this one because it was close to home. I'd say if someone wanted an outdoor pool or tennis courts, they knew that when they joined; so don't knock this gym; drive to Plano! : )

I LOVE this location of LTF. We have been members for a while now and I can honestly say, its like a second home for my little guy. My reason for joining LTF was finding a place he enjoyed and this was it. He absolutely loves the childcare facility and asks to go there. Everyone here has been kind, sweet and caring. They do a great job of keeping the facility clean, classes are focused and not too crowded, towels are always stocked and ready. Keep up the good work guys.
The worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. Typically folks at gyms are nice and pretty chill. This place was rude, stuck-up and would try to sell you something in every conversation you had with them. When I decided to cancel because of the service, I was assured it was an easy 30 day notice. Nope. They lost my paperwork and charged me for another full month. Luckily I had a copy of my cancellation paperwork and a few people who were willing to work with me. However, the North Dallas location was responsible for my refund and they were refusing to honor the cancellation and refund.

More luxurious, cleaner, and more expensive ($80/mo) than other nearby gyms. Smaller than other Life Time locations. Has fewer amenities, no outdoor pool, no tennis, smaller locker rooms. Has good child care and kids activities. Somewhat crowded. Yoga here has experienced instructors. The group exercise studio is small and gets packed. (It's hard to forget that Fitness Connection across the street has a huge exercise studio, more group classes at more convenient times, and costs $10/mo.) This Life Time location isn't worth the price unless you have little kids. This area has so many other gyms and exercise studios that Life Time isn't the obvious choice. Keep in mind their cafe and salon are open to the public, so you can come in and check the place out.

It's a good gym, lots of machines, many classes, good people working there. My biggest gripe so far is the lockers. Some don't lock and some don't unlock, as I found out today. Took about 10 minutes to get someone with a key to unlock it. Don't put your car keys or valuables in there, takes way to long to get assistance to get them out.
Good gym. The locker rooms and equipment are always clean when I am there and the staff is friendly.
I've been a member for right over a year now, and I love it! The hot tub, steam rooms, and showers are great amenities to have and are kept very clean. The membership is quite pricey, but it's nice that I can go into the classroom areas to stretch in the quiet when they aren't in use and The gym is never packed. I've had memberships at cheaper gyms and always have trouble finding space or machines that aren't being camped on that's never a problem at LT.
It also nice that the staff members are all very friendly and are not pushy like some gyms are. (I hate being hassled by trainers and salespeople when I'm working out.)
My ONLY complaint is that I wish they had a "plus one" option for my membership. I was a member at 24hr several years ago and paid a small fee to bring any guest with me anytime I came. I like working out with a gym buddy and not everyone wants to pay that much for a membership.
I tried to remove one of two memberships from my account and they are asking for me to send something in writing. I emailed them and then called to confirm and I was told that I had to mail in the request. This is crazy, unheard of and a rip off! I'm going to cancel both my memberships and go back to 24 Hour Fitness.
Great gym!!! Nice staff, plenty of machines and amenities. The staff is always on top of the up keep. I would definitely recommend.
Their child center is awesome. Often my youngest naps there for an hour while my older child plays. When he wakes up, he wants to play too. They are always very nice and accommodating. My kids even tell me to keep working out when I go to pick them up. (At other gyms, they would cry, and I would have to stop working out to get them.)
Their swim program for kids is also very nice. Great coaches that are sweet and encouraging. I was surprised a pool fit in the building. It doesn't have a water slide like bigger gyms nor outside pool.
The gym is very clean. One time we had a problem with something, and they sent someone immediately to look at it.
If there was a lesser star than 1, I would have preferred that. So , I enrolled my daughter in their swim team and make complete payments. The next day, my nanny takes her there and we are told that while she swims (the nanny)cannot drop off my 2 year old to their child care. The 2 year old cannot play indoors and of course cannot stay with nanny in the swim area. It was against the policy since a legal guardian has to drop off the kid. We understood and decide to withdraw our membership on the third day ( we signed the contract that a full refund of the payment would be made with in 7 days). I do have the signed document with me.
After a month of calls, not a single penny is refunded and the next payment is deducted. I have been on long calls with different people including the manager Mr. Macias who sees no problem why money should get back on my card but still my entire money has not been refunded. I have for the first time encountered this in my life where a big facility like this has been so careless and non respondent to the customer calls and repeated voice messages. A total of 170 PLUS DOLLARS (WHEN I HAVE NOT USED THE FACILITY FOR A SINGLE DAY) WAS CHARGED TO MY CARD. Only a fraction has been refunded and again my calls have continued but no outcome. I left voice messages and never ever got a single call returned.
Frustrating and sad.
They need better training in customer service, and a better cleaning staff, if you're going to buy a membership don't waste it on a lower tier and go to a platinum or diamond club like Plano, Allen or even Mockingbird station if you can make the drive. This club isn't even open 24 hours like the others. I live 5 minutes from this place and I will just stick to Plano and Allen from now on.
I just moved to this area, and I decided to go for a run and seen this gym Lifetime. So I walked in asked about the memberships , a sales lady came up to me gave me a tour, and which I loved!! But then it all flipped , she took me to her desk and before she pulled up prices on the different memberships ,, she assumed I wouldn't be able to afford it!!! Now this I was applaud at ,, and very frustrated that I immediately left the gym!!!! How dare a sales person make that judgment!!!! I will be contacting Management/Corporate!!!
