UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!!!!!

Since the management change things have been great. Opinions and critiques are taken into consideration and if necessary then they are acted on. There is talk of better and more to come. This place has turned around and I am proud to call it my gym again!

I've been a member of crunch Addison for three years now. Ive seen countless employees and managers and a few owners. The new owners are by far the best. They took over, clean the gym from top to bottom and fixed everything that was broken. Ive never seen this place run better. The new staff is polite and they clean all day long. Hands down the best I've seen this place in three years. If you have t been here before... it's definitely worth stopping in for a workout. If you have seen this place in the past... come see it at its finest under not just new but the best ownership!!

I have been coming to this gym off and on and it always feels like I never left. The employees are great and very attentive. The gym has something for everyone, and they bring in vendors every now and then with great products and information. The gym is clean and has the best price for a gym membership. I have not had any problems with this place and highly recommend it.

Deceptive billing practices. I guess having a signed form saying you cancelled your gym membership means nothing. I got charged again when I came in June to cancel membership and was charged for July for not being within 10 days. Ok, that's per contract. But I have been charged for August and told my membership was never terminated, only the general manager can do it, and he is gone for a week. Will be calling my bank to get these reversed!

Overall, my experience with Crunch is not bad.

We have been experiencing extreme heat in the area. However, the gym is hotter than the outside. Especially, the room in which classes are being held. My friend came in as a guest to work out with me. She almost fainted in the fitness class because of the heat INSIDE the building. There was only one fan for the entire room. You can do better... Surely, you can purchase fans and ensure the air is working properly. This is for the safety of everyone who works out in your facility.

I was overcharged $300 and the manager Nick Ewing admitted they were wrong and promised a refund. I waited and waited and my refund never came through. It has now been more than 30 days and I was actually overcharged again an additional $300. Now I am out $600 and after multiple calls and emails I am hearing no response back. Do not trust this establishment with your credit card information. Nick is never available as you can see from other reviews.

Do yourself a favor and do not sign up for this gym, they have no respect for their customers.

Pretty solid gym overall, the staff is really cool and for the most part people just come here to get there workout in and get their asses home, the equipment is in good shape fairly new and nothing was tagged out for repairs which was a huge plus only issue I have with the gym is that the restrooms are kinda small and the lighting is really dark, looks more like a bar or club with how dim it is in their. But still a good place to check out it's never packed and the people are cool I guess.

Fantastic gym! Amazing functional strength area for flipping tires and pushing sleds. Juan was super helpful and knowledgeable. Felt welcome from day one.

For 10 dollars a month the gym is amazing, better than LA or 24 at 1/4 the cost. Have to give it 2 stars as they have no "No Judgement" sings all over the wall but employees give you dirty looks when you approach the front desk. Decided to buy a rev meals spending even more money at the club and all I got was dirty looks not a single word almost like I was bothering him from standing there and starring at the window. The guy at the front desk (young blonde idk his name) did not say a word, thank you hello good bye" stuck out the scanner to scan my tag and left desk when transaction was over. I didn't know whether to leave, the purchase was done etc. I believe the only words I got was "Sign"

Crunch fitness is my gym it has great equipment, excellent staff, and a judgement free community of people from all over who will treat you like family.

Unfortunately do to the gyms greediness I have to change my review. About a year ago I needed a place to go when I was in town for work, they'd let me pay $10 for a few days a week, so I was giving them more money than an actual membership which I was ok with since I don't live in the area and didn't have to "join". Then recently they started trying to charge me $10 a day which would be about $20-$30 a week. No thanks someone else will be glad to take my money.

Please save yourself the time and money and DO NOT sign up for personal training. They put on this persona that they are really in it to help you and further your goals but really when the time comes for renewals, cancellations, etc. they clearly don't care about you other than squeezing all they can out of your pocket book and getting in their numbers. It's a horrible game preying on the vulnerable. I was so excited and had high hopes for personal training at Crunch fitness but could not have been more disappointed with my experience. The worst is the manager Jake, he is always picking up on women there during business hours, he is rude, unpleasant and will do nothing to help others. He goes around saying he is the owner, when in fact that is not true....His wife is the owner and he is not even listed on the franchise agreement. please don't fall into this awful trap! PLACE is HORRID!

Jake, the manager is a deceptive D-bag that will only steal your money and waste your time. I gave my card to the club to charge for fitness training. The Club then charged the card for the ongoing membership which was incorrect. They already had a different card on file which they were told to use for monthly membership. When I explained what had happened, I was assured this was fixed. It is now 5 months later and the club still owes me ~$800. Then I called again and spoke directly to a manager, who also assured me he would get back to me. I heard nothing more from him. It has now been three weeks and still no refund for the charges which are fraud at this point.

very hard to get a hold of the actual office to get questions answered. I have called twice and it goes to voice mail and then says the voice mail box hasnt been setup yet. What kind of place is this? They say they are open at 4:30 in the morning is it really that busy right now that no one can answer the phone? I have had this account for over a year and they still owe me and my wife a free training with a trained trainer for 1 hour. I attempted to setup the consultation and they tried to give me and my wife the same trainer so it would be easier on them. I am starting to wonder if this is a legit business

The gym is good and people are very good and help us. But when it comes to money, it's worst. I paid for 4 personal classes and taken 2 already. I need to cancel the gym for personal reasons.

When I went to cancel the membership, the attendant told they will process a return for $90. I don't receive for 2 days and I called back again. The owner telling me that they will not return the money. I don't understand he keeps on telling there's a contract. If so, why the employee doesn't know that? What can we call the people who don't serve but want money that they don't deserve?

Update: If you want to cancel, cancel the membership before 10 business days. Else they will charge for another month like they charged me.

Update 10/4/17 - I spoke to the owner and he refunded the monthly fees and provided me with the cancellation form, all is well.

I cancelled my membership in late August, went in and signed, the employee said I was all set and that I my membership was cancelled. I had to pay for another month because it was too late in the month, they also charged me the annual fees. They charged me again this month, when I called them they said that they had no record of me canceling. My advice is to ask for a copy of the cancellation form and ask them to send you an email. I'm going to speak to the general manager and work this out.
