Ryan - the OPS manager - is such a breath of fresh air! He welcomes and motivates every time walking in the gym. Thanks Ryan for being so awesome!!!

Before joining ask how many members have died while working out. They need to make this facility more safe.
Plenty of space to warm up, lots of T.M., spin class area, free weights, and machines are kept up. I work out at 10:30 am-12:15 pm, they don't have a class available during this time during the week. Nice pool and not crowed
The gym area is very clean and the equipment well maintained. For the lifters, there is a lot of different equipment and machines to use. For those that prefer cardio, there is a good selection on the second floor away from the resistance equipment. The basketball gym and racquetball courts are a nice bonus. The reason I don't give this gym five stars is because the locker room usually smells awful and there aren't enough benches for dumbbell work.
UPDATE: I'm dropping a star off because equipment is poorly maintained. If something breaks, it'll be broken for months.
I chose this gym because it is by far the most convenient in terms of location. As soon as that changes im cancelling my membership. The gym overall is disgusting. There are used paper towels everywhere. Stuffed into slots on the cardio machines, on the floor throughout the gym floor as well as the locker rooms. The worst part though is the showers. There is not one proper functioning shower in the mens locker room. This is in addition to having gum, bandaids ,and yes more used paper towels in the floor of the shower. Either the shower heads have poor water pressure (trickling out when fully on), torn or missing shower curtains, soap dispensers that dont work some properly others at all, or the valve randomly just falls off of the fixture. The kicker is I go first thing in the morning as soon as it opens and the gym is this dirty. I could see if it was an odd hour or close to closing but first thing in the morning? Unacceptable. Drive the 10 extra minutes to go to 24 hour fitness north on collins.

This gym is no behind the times, not upgraded like the other LA fitness locations in the area. Upgraded machines much needed, the current ones are worn out with pieces broken off.
Way overpriced for a gym. The help is laxidaisy and you are just a sheep being milked out of your hard earned money. Once your sick of it ... See what happens when you try to quit your membership lol. They dont let you ! I paid over 200 bucks to join and 30 a month. Yes all you sheep paid for that building. Their hours suck !
Lockers and showers are broken frequently and the sauna needs the wood replaced in it. They do NOT have a steam room. 24 hour in Euless is much better!!
Great gym. I love it except for the hours. I can see closing at 9 or 10 on Saturday and Sunday but 8... ridiculous. And opening at 8a.m.??? Worst gym hours I have ever seen.

I've been a member on and off for 15 years ... it's a good gym and convenient...
Great place, not the best set up but it's got nice showers and free weights. Which is all I need lol
They need to post the hours outside the entrance.
They can't just have anyone assume it's a 24hr gym and go by the hours based on google.
Arrived here on Saturday around 7:30pm and the doors were already locked with people still inside. I think the hours they offer for the price is somewhat ridiculous considering that people do not have a flexible schedules.
I signed up for a trial with no explanation of the gym policies...
Not even a quick tour of what the gym has to offer to convince me to purchase a membership for three people.
It seems like a clean gym, but based on the reviews I scrolled down before posting this review it just seems like a huge inconvenience for me.
Save a headache and look into other gyms that are open 24/7 and offer deals.

He said he's different and would take care of me. And he signed me up with another agreement. The trainer Bryan quit and I was left behind with no trainer again. The manager said the trainers were about to be ready. Now it's been about 2 months since I trained with a trainer. Of course I'm still paying monthly. I cannot cancel or get refund because I signed an "agreement".

Update: Still no improvements on men's locker room, other than new carpet a few months back. Toilet/shower area is still abysmal. Now there seems to be a lack of concern for fixing things when broken.
Pros: friendly staff, no problems with equipment, not too busy in morning/lunchtime; price is decent, men's shower area appears to be kept pretty clean as well. Only had one run-in with a member who thought he was the only one in the gym.
Only con - and it's a big one - cleanliness of men's toilet area is absolutely abject. It's been this way since at least 2015. It might as well be gutted and completely remodeled. While a complete overhaul may be unreasonable, periodic cleanings by staff throughout the day would go a long way.
I wouldn't recommend this gym. Equipment are old and many are in disrepair. Broken equipment takes months to repair. The gym, which is currently closed do to the wood flooring lifting up from the ground, has been closed for several months. Equipment looks unsanitary. You never see anyone wiping/cleaning the equipment during the day. Cancelling the contract is quite a chore - You can not call in or do it online. There are many other things to list, but I will just stop there.
Not very sanitary. Restrooms are always smelling bad & not clean. There is always at least 1 clogged toilet. There's always at least 1 water fountain broken & the rest have warm water. The toilet stall walls are dirty, rusted & very old. Overall, not a very sanity/hygienic place. Planet Fitness has a cleaner place for 3 times the price of this LA Fitness.

Manager victor is the reason why i am canceling my membership, he doesn't know how to talk to customers, i was about to upgrade my membership to multiple club access i was referred to Mr.Josh he is very good at dealing customers by the way, he sent me to manager to talk about options, where he spoiled very badly made me cancel membership and he is not even sorry about that when i told him that i am cancelling membership.
Hope management see this and take some action, until then LA fitness of arlington will be spoiled.
This is a review for my first experience there and the way I have been treated, not the place itself.
A few days ago I went to this place for the first time (with my friend) and I faced these:
1) after registration, the person who was taking care of us, said that we can have a free one time trainer. Looking at my schedule, I told that I can come at 6:00pm. The person though said, I am gonna put you at 5:30, but we know you will show up at 6:00pm. I emphasized several times that I will be there at 6:00, not 5:30 and he said it is fine (he put my friend's name for 6:00pm spot -- we were supposed to show up together). The day after that I received a call that "do not forget to come at 5:30pm"!! I then explained the situation on phone and he said he will fix it. I was there at 5:58pm, the front desk said that your slot has been at 5:30pm!!! and it is passed. Then, I had to explain the whole story to her again.
2) Since my friend's name was in calendar for 6:00pm slot, a trainer was supposed to take care of us. The person at the desk asked us to wait for him (and I was seeing the trainer which was a few meters away from us).
after waiting for around 10 minutes the trainer came close to us, but he immediately went to the couple beside us (which I believe were there to register) and asked me to wait. To make the story short, he never showed up and when after almost 30 minutes when we asked the front desk that we are still waiting, some one else came to us and said "sorry for the wait, he was in the rest room!!! and he will be with you shortly" (despite the fact that I was chasing the trainer all the time with my eyes), and then he said "why don't you go and warm up on the trade mill, he will be with you shortly"... HE NEVER SHOWED UP and we left the gym after one hour!
gym floor has been messed up for a month then they said they are looking for a low price to get the floor fixed. To bad I can't just call la fitness and tell them om going to wait to pay my bill until I find it cheap enough smh.... one of the biggest jokes ever...
