Coach Eric Flores and his team of instructiors is one of the best in my opinion they absolutely take time to get to know you as a parent and your family to help you understand that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is all about. There just a awesome crew to be around and a wealth of knowledge for kids . Very patient and understanding each person learning ability. And help and shows you how to do it the right way. They go as far as helping your son or daughter out to get ready for a competition. Going over a game plan for attack or defense . making sure you are ready for battle.. can't say enough good things about this school or it's staff.
Silva Academy is a Great training environment. Zero Ego in this gym and everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Coach Eric and his instructors really take the time out to teach adults and kids respect, honor, and integrity to each every student. Coach Eric really takes the time out to learn every ones name and a little about each individual the day you walk in the gym. Highly recommend this place. I trust Coach Eric to teach my two boys for the past 3 years
Do not have enough great things to say about this school and the coaches. From the moment you walk you, you know you found your home gym. Coach Eric instills an atmosphere that is conducive to learning and working hard but can still be laid back. The school is a competition school but is not required but will still push you as if you were competing. The coaches he has hired also come with extensive knowledge and martial art backgrounds. Multiple classes M-Sat allows for busy working moms like mysellf to be able to attend class 2-3x a week.

I've trained jiu-jitsu for over 9 years. I joined the Silva academy 5 years ago and never looked back. I came from an unhealthy training environment where people were viewed strictly as a monetary commodity. Going to the Silva academy was refreshing and reignited my passion for Martial Arts. They are all about the people and the training is second to none. I highly recommend Silva Martial Arts!!!

Aloisio Silva Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has great instructors who work with students ranging from professional mixed martial artist to entire families units. These guys are great at what they do, they're able to change gears seamlessly with their teaching methodology depending on the age and skill level of each individual student. I find that when I'm being taught something new it tends to hit me like an epiphany. It's always interesting as they tell us how to maneuver ourselves and manipulate the positioning of our training partners. It's like a physical color by numbers in that at some point it all makes since and I've just been simply following instructions. That in itself has made working with the guys at Aloisio Silva BJJ a very exciting experience for me. If you even think you may like it YOU HAVE GOT TO TRY IT. Bring your family... it's an amazing experience.

Great program, Coach Eric has a high level of knowledge, combined with great humility.
I was especially impressed by his sincere interest and desire to help his students. At age 33 I started late in the sport yet, I find his patient, humble and nurturing approach to training keeps me motivated and committed.
He has high personal standards and ambitions which rubs off on all the team members.
Simply put this is a wonderful program put together by real competitors and Fighters.
I first joined this class with some friends anticipating a while to get used to the flow of the class and the people within it. As class went on, it was the complete opposite. The people, instructors, coaches and students there welcomed my friends and I with open arms and we instantly felt at home. The lessons were very intuitive and the coaches spend time with each person to make sure they understand the concept. After class it is always fun because the people will teach you some small tips and tricks to improve your game. Overall, this gym is amazing and great for anyone wanting a jiujitsu experience as well as any other martial art!
Coaches are all highly experienced and friendly. Black belt instructor Eric Flores is a true professional and Marine veteran. The atmosphere is one of respect and family values, and everyone takes care of each other. Since my first day, I have grown to know some the coaches and students as good friends. I placed 2nd an my first tournament after only three months of training, so the curriculum is top notch. The rest of the team has some of the best talent in the state as well. Coach Eric is an expert in BJJ, Judo, and Muay Thai, so there is always an option to expand your training to reach new goals. I highly recommend Aloisio Silva BJJ to anyone looking to learn self defense, compete, or just get in shape.
I recently brought my 5 year old to the free class they offer. I was initially taking him to another academy but my kid was being sidelined. The reason I mention this is because I can now honestly compare Mr. Silva's program with others in the area. To say the least, I enrolled Mason immediately. The difference was night and day. I am grateful to find such positive role models. I sometimes sit back and wonder how the instructors have some much patience. Best place to bring your kids hands down.
If you are looking for a team of professional instructors who will teach but also provide you with constructive feedback in order to progress, this is the Place! The cost is very reasonable, they are very honest instructors who exemplifies what it means to be a martial artist. Great place to train. The senior belts are always willing to help you improve your jujitsu. No egos here! If you are looking for a place to learn and grow for yourself and your kids. This is the place to BE!
