Among the most aggressive sales tactics from a gym. I signed up and was told by my trainer it's month to month. I go four months later and it turns out it was a 12 month membership. They told me that they I hope remember to cancel on month twelve because if not I'm autorenewed. Saved the date and the manager tried to haggle me to stay. The gym is filthy, unorganized and the staff treat you like $ instead of people. Avoid this gym at all costs.
Great place to workout. Sometimes the pool and hot tub are closed but mostly for cleaning which is great!! This is my favorite gym. Has most of the machines and free weights that most would need for a workout.
From where I start 99.9 of the machines bad old not working. The gym not clean the sauna seats broken the steam room is stinky the carpet is so old and stinky and we still paying 35 a month its alot of money for nothing I wish they can fix it
Most 24 Hour Fitness locations that I visit tend to be dingy and dirty, not very well cleaned or maintained. That doesn't really have to stop you from getting creative and getting in a good workout nonetheless. I do wish that the owner of the gyms in the DFW area would take a little more pride in their establishment, but for now we'll just have to deal with it.
It's a pretty good gym. They need more bicycles on the second floor. Though those allergy to dust be warned, I've attached a picture.
Good place to exercise and work out. Wet area need to up keep all the time.
I tried to use their "free" 3 day pass. When I went in they badgered me with tons of personal questions even after I made it very clear that I was not interested. I have a disability and am already uncomfortable going to the gym. They even badgered me with questions about that. When I didn't answer the questions the way they wanted, the superviser told me that I could only go to the gym that day and would have to pay $20 the next day (even though I had a 3 day pass???) This was harrassment. When someone says no, respect them. I will never go back to any 24 Hour Fitness again.
Favorite 24hr location in the metroplex. Enough equipment to go around for everyone. Facility is always kept clean and the staff are awesome. Everyone is always positive and motivated here
I've been coming to this gym for three years I don't bother anyone I've lost 30 pounds! and I'm a tiny girl, who lifts sum freakin heavy as weights, the gym itself is not bad, I've gotten use to it, I do tend to drop the weights at times since they are twice to three times my weight, today I got told don't drop weights... now I'm not mad that there's rules but, if only the rules were being reinforced to everyone....and I wasn't getting targeted, that be great!! I literally see guys dropping weights all the time!! And it's because you think I might break it? I've been coming to this gym for three Years!! I've never broken anything! I've seen machines get broken left and right! And those people probably never even got told anything, Sum they never even fixed! I'm not dropping stuff on a hard floor but on the Mat! But I'm the one that gets told the "rules' if anything is gonna break, it's gonna be me! not the dam weight! The day that rule gets reinforced to every single person who does it then don't even approach me!
I'm not gonna break you're weight, and if I ever do you go ahead tell me the cost! I'll write you a check!
Pretty good gym. They need to update the machines that you can load weights on to work out ur back. But other than that, good gym.

The samoan guy who works there with the tribal tattoo signed me up for the super sport plus made me pay a $200 down payment, so not only did i get my money stolen from the down payment i also have been getting my money stolen on a monthly bases paying $30+ extra for my membership. I signed up for the regular and instead have been paying for a super sport membership. Do not do business with these people as they will steal hundreds from you if you are not careful just so they can make a $30 commission check.

Machines are kept up with and generally really clean , but they have been missing a 120 lb. For over a year now though....
I used to hear bad comments from people, but after trying this gym a couple times, I can say the place is neat and people are very respectful.
24 Hour Fitness is a great facility for any type of exercise. They have a wide range of classes and equipment to suit your needs. Plus their personal trainers are great (at the Arbrook location in Arlington, Shalako is the top notch trainer)!

This location is very poorly manage. The management will not return phone calls or emails when there is an issue especially with billing. Brandt is very unresponsive and unprofessional.
Way too expensive for how poorly the equipment is maintained. Manager is always a month or two late adjusting the heat or a/c for the season so being too hot or cold is the norm.
This is one of two 24-Hour Fitness clubs in Tarrant County that has a 5-lane pool, with 2 lanes dedicated as shallow-water lanes all the way across the pool. Also their pool spa is immaculate and not full of cruddy foamy water, which seems to afflict all the other spas they have except for the one in Bedford, which happens to have the identical flooplan and pool plan as this one. These 2 locations are unique. The others are all just square buildings with square pools that only have 3 lanes and no dedicated shallow lanes, and their spas are full of cruddy foamy water.
Some equipment needs to be updated. But for the most part I'm able to get in and do what I need to do and get out. I like working out here because it's convenient commute from where I work.
As I was signing my mother up, the person having her the tour was saying that there are so many upgrades or updates such as the pool area. This was not true and he was only trying to make it sound good to sell a membership. I did not appreciate that. Don't be lying to the customer just to got something out of it. I've been going here for 8 years now and I've barley seen and any upgrades.

Great classes, convenient hours. Love the instructors . Clean location.

I go at night around midnight when it is practically empty and I can almost always use the machine I want without waiting. It is pretty clean most of the time except for when people don't pick up after themselves or clean the equipment when they're done (the lazy gym-goers are the problem, not the staff). For what you pay, you get access to a large professional gym that offers free workout classes during the day and access to other 24 hour fitness locations.
I've thought about switching to Fitness Connection down the street ONLY because it is cheaper, but I've been going to this 24 HF location for nearly 2 years and don't plan on switching gyms anytime soon because the cleanliness, service, and availability for the price is unmatched.
Very dirty gym. The vents, fans, lights, restrooms, are nasty. I'm about to join l.a fitness man I'm glad I do month to month
It's huge, clean and not at all crowded if you go to gym after 9.30pm. I love the pool, sauna and steam room. It's thrice the size of other 24 hour fitness. Staff is above average and can do a lot better. Basket ball court is a great deal and free WiFi and comfortable couches too. They also have a ton of vending machine items but they are definitely over priced. Their locker rooms and shower is one of the best.
Newly renovated swimming pool. But I liked the pool and hot tub even before the renovation. Workout space is well lit. Bath area is missing shooter curtains, they had it previously. There is a standing fan and hair dryers, spacious locker room.
Favorite gym in town. Sara recommended me. Im a Michigander i thought it would be hard to top my beloved Powerhouse but theyve pulles it off witb ease i guess everything is bigger in Texas.
Great gym. Modern like new equipment. Never to crowded when I go. Great selection and clean areas.
1. Basketball court is pretty awful if you are used to anything larger than an elementary school court. Floors are not polished and rims and nets are ragged.
2 fitness area is clean but does not have many machines. Just one squat free-weight machine.
3. Nice staff and manager
If you ride motorcycles, don't park them on sidewalk in front of the building... it's against Arlington laws I've been told.
This Gym is ripped off. I signed up July I been told that next annual fee is next year and here comes October I been charged monthly membership and another Annual fee. I even signed up for group training I been paying for that one day came for my training been waiting for the trainer she was working out by herself I walk to her and asked are we going to workout she said no I can't train you today. I asked her why she reply you didn't know your class is cancelled I told her I have no Idea. She said sorry management won't let me teach you because I'm over time. What a great bussiness that's how they treat their clients they don't give a damn you pay them. it's not my problem if their stuff is overtime my point is give me the service I paid for. I went down stairs to talk to the management the rude guy told me his boss doing interview if I want he can get my info and his boss will call me the later that day. I been waiting and waiting nobody call me. Huhhhh???? I called customer service to cancelled my membership he said I cannot cancelled without paying for the rest of membership over two hundred dollars... He said I have to pay Service fee, annual fee and membership fee it is ridiculous.... So no choice I am stock for 8 more month's..... Believe me don't ever signed up to this gym if you don't want disaster to your pucket most staff is rude I will say only 3 nice staff out of the whole crowd. I can give 5 starts to Alex, Laura and Baylore... I heard L.A. Fitness is better than 24 Hour Fitness.
I'm a member at 24 hour fitness which makes me eligible to go to any 24 hour fitness gym which is cool. I'm giving this particular 24 hr fitness is a 3 simply because the classrom doesn't have a clock! & it's insane to be checking the clock outside all the time! Or to check your phone for the time! 24 hr hour fitness is nice though!!!
