Great gym, good mix of clientele. Front desk people are not much help
Great place, lots of space, friendly people. Always clean, and the group classes are awesome. Favorite gym I've ever been a member of.
Top of the line gym for a reasonable price with a large variety of classes for all interests and all skill levels. Instructors are approachable and the front desk staff is knowledgeable. Always clean and neat and comes with great amenities, such as the steam room, outdoor pool, and locker room hot tubs.
Great and comfortable atmosphere to workout in! Membership pricing is affordable. Love the staff, always friendly and attentive.
Lots of equipment and classes with great instructors. This is the only gym I know of in Amarillo the has a full size lap pool alongside a training pool and another outdoor pool. Dressing rooms have a hottub and sauna and are kept clean.
Great place to work out but not much for the kids.
I started 1 month ago and I've no complaints so far. The staff is friendly and when you make entrance they greet at you. I just wish they have more extensive hours the weekends but at the same time I understand we all have to rest.

Great gym that isn't overly packed. It is hard to get pool time because of the local swim teams and swimming classes, but there is a lap pool and a wading pool inside. The outdoor pool is clean and has areas for young and older. There is a very diverse clientele, so it's easy to feel comfortable. The fee for visitors is $10- I wish it wasn't so high because I'd like my son to bring friends to the pool.

I have been notorious at times for cancelling my membership and signing back up at a later date. The staff have always been helpful and understanding during the process. The staff inside the fitness area are not very helpful but then I have never directly approached anyone. I feel like they could go the extra mile and lend some instruction when I'm obviously struggling with the mechanics of a machine. Overall, it's still the best place in Amarillo.

Not kid friendly. I have two kids ages 11 and 9 that can not go to the day care. They also can not do anything else in the gym. So we have to find a sitter just so me and my wife can enjoy a workout together. On top of closing down 70% of the gym for two weeks. This is ridiculous I pay good money for this gym and so far I don't see them caring for their customers.

I had the best water work out class yesterday ever Coral gave ever body a real great work out for the end of the week
Doing some upgrades here and it is making something good making it better. Great establishment.
This place has everything; weights, exercise machines, group classes, personal trainers, swimming pools indoor and outdoor, walking track, sauna, whirlpool, nice dressing rooms. Great supportive atmosphere! Family friendly.
I really enjoyed viewing there indoor aquitics area. At this location, was pleased to hear that the local High Schools held swim meets.
I have lived in Amarillo 6 months. Although 24 hour fitness is not here I have had an all club in the nation membership with them for 15 years. I have used dozens of their facilities in Nevada, California, and Texas. I am also a trainer with the American College of Sports Medicine and ACE & NASM. I also participate in seminars and expositions as exercise is an important concept in my life and just got back from the Arnold which is the largest expo of its kind and serves as great motivation to improve personal goals. In the 6 months of residence, I have visited ATC 179 times. I go to both locations often and try different times and the reader will have to infer why I would do so. Let me summarize my conclusions this way-I cancelled my membership!
Although this is the size of one room to bigger cities this is pretty good for Amarillo.
They have a 2 pools and 3 workout rooms full of things to do. They have multiple dancing classes. And dont forget to try the muscle workouts! For the cost there are better places but if you're looking for more than a gym this is the place!
We set up private swim lessons and the guy no showed twice!
That being said we did receive a nice return call from management (Doug) who was great. He made sure we were taken care of.
