I participated in the 6 week challenge at crossfit hermitage and saw amazing results. Before the challenge, I was strictly weight lifting and didn't have much discipline in terms of nutrition.
Naturally, I wasn't seeing the results I wanted in terms of toning up more and building more muscle. After 6 short weeks and incorporating a customized nutrition plan created for me by my coaches, my deadlift alone went from 100lbs roughly to 185lb.
I, like most people that strictly lift, was apprehensive to try Crossfit because of the stereotypes. I am now addicted and couldn't imagine not incorporating this type of training into my workout. The workouts are constantly challenging your body in so many different ways so, the fear of plateauing is gone.
Regardless of where you are in your fitness journey, you should highly consider either dropping in or joining the 6 week program. It's an amazing deal with personal trainers, a nutritionist and coaches they coach you in a small,intimate group setting on the basics of various Crossfit lifting techniques.
