Misty is warm and welcoming and the classes are just the right pace. Often yoga classes can be intimidating: too challenging or too much forced new ageyness. Not Yoga House. Misty keeps it real with her upbeat, accessible personality, pushing the limits for the more advanced students but somehow keeping it simple enough for beginners like me to understand. Nice space too. Feels like a Goodlettsville getaway or secret spot! Oh...and good price!

I have been taking Hot yoga since September and I soooo love it. At first it was all about the heat but now I realize that the heat along with the postures and poses is what has helped me to achieve a stronger core, gain strength and flexibility better than any other exercise I have ever done. I could not even touch my toes before! I am also runner and my joints can take a beating, so doing hot yoga seems to relieve that tension. Can't say enough about Misty and the Hot Yoga House....it is the best thing I have done for ME in a long time! Come visit an enjoy the family atmosphere and calming effects of hot yoga...I assure you that you can stand the heat! Sherrie

Scanning your card and packing you into a noisy, crowded room is not what Hot Yoga House is about. Their peaceful and calm studio is where you can slip off your day and slip into you. You won't find the "gym scene" with a class full of the "seen and be seen" crowd. A home is where you get to be you.

At HYH, home is also where you can devote precious time to finding, focussing on, and strengthening your YOU physically, mentally, and spiritually. YOU make the time to work on YOU. Everybody knows YOUR name. YOU find the space to learn the art of being still in movement. YOU leave lighter, in every way.

When I found yoga, I had been looking for a workout that simply didn't hurt my knees or ask me to "keep time with the beat". I knew I didn't want the noise of a cardio class, but I did want the cardio. The Hot Yoga House sure gives me my cardio, but it is an island of calm that challenges me physically and mentally. For me the whole "stay calm and..." or "let go, and let God" is something that requires practice (understatement of a lifetime); and the stillness of mind that comes from practicing the yoga in a heated, quiet studio actually makes that practice something I look forward to. I don't understand it, but a year into it, I know I don't want to try to do my life without it. deep, I know...lol.
