I started my fitness journey back in 2012 with a personal trainer as I trained for my first half marathon. From there, I completed a full marathon in 2013 by training on my own. I was never one to like lifting heavy weights. I was always just simply running and eating whatever I wanted because I thought that simply running would make me healthy.

I joined Nashletics in July of 2018 after having a baby in 2017. They provided me with so much more than a place to work out. They offer so many different types of classes, it is incredible! They gave me structure with nutrition that was catered specifically for me. They provided me with support as I transitition through this season of life. I am beyond thankful for the coaches and the members who have become friends. Thank you from me and the foundation for my family's future.

Such an amazing gym! I did the 6 week challenge and lost over 32 lbs! Mark and his team rock!

I joined the 6 weeks challenge (around mid-May to June) to get fit for my sister's wedding on June 24th, so my challenge ended right before the wedding weekend, it was perfect timing! I am very glad to have join, and here's a couple of reason why...

I saw results, such as
(1) losing 2 bra size (I went from 32DDD to 32D; I admit I was sad to see them go but I am now happier with my new look since I look healthier and slimmer),
(2) losing belly fat (I measured in morning before eating or drinking, lost about 3 inches),
(3) losing weight (weighed on personal scale in morning before eating or drinking, lost about 7 pounds),
(4) increase in lean muscle (my arms and thighs are much more define and muscular looking now), and
(5) decrease in fat mass & body fat percentage (as apparent from the changes I mentioned above, and how much my face has slimmed down).

Basically, my whole body transformed. I am very happy now with my healthier and slimmer look. My goal was not just to lose weight, I wanted to lose the fat and gain muscle, because I want to look tone, so Nashletics really helped me with accomplish that.

Those were some of the more visible/physical changes, as for the nonphysical changes:
(1) I feel stronger
(2) I have higher endurance
(3) I can do things that I couldn't before (for example, I can do a couple of push ups, before, I couldn't even do a proper single push up), and
(4) I feel more confident

A couple of other reasons of why I enjoy it has to do with the (1) workout program, (2) coaching, and (3) community.
(1) I admit I was very scare during my 1st week but after the 1st week, I realize I actually like going to their classes. I found myself having fun, enjoying the workout, and challenging myself to do more. Also, their workout gives an afterburn effect which I really like because it means my fat is still burning and muscles are forming even after the workout is completed.
(2) Plus, the coaches are always there to help. For example, they made sure I am comfortable with what I was lifting, and corrected my form if needed. I am very grateful for their time and guidance on this, because I am not a very athletic person, so I was really glad how patient they were with helping me with my form. So, a big thank you to Mark, Nancy, Steve, April, Kelsey, and Joshua! I attended mostly the Crossfit class that was coached by Nancy and Steve, so I want to give a special mention about them, because they.are.AWESOME. I would go to both of their classes a day if I could. They are so attentive, helpful, patient, giving easy to follow instructions, and I learned sooooo much from them! I learned new ways to stretch and warm up to loosen up my tighten and sore spots. I learned new ways to lift weights. Basically, I gained so much new knowledge and experience in their classes! At first I felt intimidated by them because they all look so strong and fit, but after the class, I feel like I can trust them, and go up to them to ask for help without being judge. They are really great coaches. Mark, the owner, deserves a special mention too. I lost count of how many times I went up to him about nutrition question or about my progress in the challenge. He was very encouraging each time,and patient while giving useful and helpful response. I was at first skeptical about this program, especially before I sign up, but I decided to trust him and join, and I am very glad I did.
(3) The members were all also very friendly & encouraging. They don't judge you or yell at you. I did not feel any negativity there when going to the classes. Overall, this is a great bunch of people, and a great community.

My overall experience at Nashletics had been a great one, and I can't wait to come back for more in the future!

The facility is huge and has anything you need for an awesome workout . The training staff are kind and competent. And all the other members I've met are super supportive! Can't recommend enough!

I am not a work outer... I'm not athletic... I have the balance of a weeble wobble. I am a songwriter with a full time job that also co owns a tshirt company and ... I. have. no. time... well.. guess what? My best friend and I signed up for the challenge on a whim bc why not add one more thing to our already crammed plate and I'll be freaking danged. I've been going to the 6:15 class and accidentally fell in love.

I'm still the slowest runner, I still throw up some times, I still hate cardio but I love how I feel during and after the work out. This team of coaches is unlike anything I've ever known in work out world. They don't yell. They don't push or belittle. They also don't baby you. They encourage you. They modify exercises specifically for each individual person so that you're not doing anything that could harm you. Not to mention one of the coaches is always available to answer questions and you can literally ask them anything under the sun. Having that accountability was huge in sticking to my goal.

I wanted to hate it and some mornings I do, but in the best ways. In the six weeks I've lost 12 pounds, gained muscle in places I can't remember ever feeling like there was muscle and feel better than I have in years. All the cliche stuff is true but I don't think there's a better team anywhere, especially in Nashville, that could do as much good for individuals as this team has.

All shapes, sizes, skills, etc are welcome. You'll be cheerleaded not only by the coaches but from the other work outers as well. It's truly a community and I wouldn't trade going out on this whim for anything.

There was a pinterest quote I saw that said "Replace 'I don't have time' with 'it's not a priority'" and that pretty much changed everything for me. Working out is now a priority. Making time to better myself surrounded by others bettering themselves, is a priority. Decide what your priorities are and tell your excuses to take a hike for six weeks... you'll end up being as annoyingly happy and surprised as me! :)

Another veteran of the Six Week Challenge here! This gym has a friendly and supportive staff. I could tell that they really wanted me to succeed, and they gave me all of the resources and the accountability I needed to achieve my goal. Lost 15 pounds in just over a month without having to go hungry. Yes, please!

So this challenge had me a little skeptical. I had seen others that didn't cost as much. But after talking to the owner Mark and realizing this was something I needed to do I said WTH. It's a beast at times but If you stick with it works. I lost 27 pounds in the 6 weeks!. The week before I was struggling but the "crew" kept me hitting it. So it can be done.

Do you want results? An amazing experience? A team of coaches and community that care about your success? Then this is THE place - stop looking at other gyms that are "cheaper" and start investing in yourself and the results you've talked about for months or years. I personally recommend this gym and wouldn't suggest you look anywhere else!

I initially started the 6 week challenge and did not know what I was getting myself into. Nashletics was there to help. They trainers were encouraging and motivating to do your best. It is an investment initially but if you are willing to put in the work and work hard, you will see and feel results. I was able to lose 26 pounds in 6 weeks and start my healthy lifestyle wih nashletics. I was able to gain friendships and so much from nashletics. I would recommend this gym to everyone. They are great!

Just completed the 6 week challenge. What an amazing way to jumpstart my health and fitness journey! I was a bit skeptical at first and had always been a little anti-CrossFit, but I gotta tell ya, I'm so glad I bit the bullet and joined. Amazing gym, great coaches and just all around good people and place. I lost 27.3 lbs in six weeks and have never felt better. At 42 I'm on my way to being in the best shape of my life that is to the amazing team at Nashletics!

Great Place! Went to Nashletics as a drop in during the Open and they let me join in no questions asked! Everyone was so welcoming and encouraging.

As a coach at this facility (take my review for what it's worth), I cannot say enough great things about working here. My interactions with the staff and owner continue to be positive, week after week, and the clients we work with make me feel excited to come to work every day! I feel very grateful to have found the type of working environment that feels like family!

Great gym! Great instructors! Great experience!
I started working out here during their 6 week challenge.
The workouts were tough, but the experience they provided was comprehensive. The diet plan they gave really worked, and the more that I committed to the program the more results I saw.
Its a great gym if you are looking to start a new, healthier lifestyle, or if you're already in good shape and want to take it to the next level!

I started this challenge wondering how this would change me and my life.... well I can tell you that I beat the challenge, and along the way I gained energy, motivation, eating tips, exercise techniques as well as the determination to keep going and wanting to continue this lifestyle! Great atmosphere, top of the line equipment, wonderful members, and a team of coaches that will push you every day to be your best while maintaining proper form and safety make for the best gym experience I have ever experienced. Crossfit Melrose checks all the boxes. I could not recommend this gym more highly to anybody who is interested in crossfit no matter what your experience level.

Great gym. Joined about 8 months ago and seeing real positive results. Throw out the social stigma of CrossFit being only for the super-competitive - CrossFit Melrose has been a friendly community for me.

The New You Challenge was exactly what I needed to get jump started back to fitness. The diet plan and the workouts were a great synergistic combination. All three trainers were effective, encouraging and challenging. Very pleased with my experience at CrossFit Melrose.
