In addition to a great gym, the staff are extremely kind, personal, and professional. It feels like a community (both on a daily basis, and in times where the community comes together like holidays, major events and unfortunate circumstances).
Staff is not very friendly. I usually go to the ymca in Brentwood. Did not feel very welcoming at all.
Everyone here is so nice and helpful! The classes are great as well!
It would be nice if they had uniform bikes in the cycle studio like every other YMCA in middle Tennessee. It's no excuse not to. Also, it would be nice if they updated the Expresso bikes also. There have been several improvements to other models and these are just plain awful.

Great location with some great classes. However, if you swim you need to get there at non-peak hours because there arent a ton of lanes

A nice YMCA, ample parking. Fun yoga and Zumba classes offered. Nearby Whole Foods to shop afterwards.

Had a great spin class this morning! Saturday morning classes with Lauren and Jessica rock! Overall, each spin instructor here brings something special into their classes, you just have to find what music and style of teaching fits you better. Green Hills Y has a great variety of spin classes. Mix them up if you feel like motivation is dwindling.
One time I saw a goat scratch itself on a fence post. This did not happen at the YMCA but it is a true story nonetheless.
They have a wide array of classes to choose from and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Also- they have a ton of machines and spin bikes that are always in good shape
