I have always enjoyed PF. This is actually my (home) location and closest to where I live.
Sadly, when I come in early (3 a.m - 4 a.m) I can NEVER find an employee to use any amenities that are part of the black card membership.
Make no mistake I walk the gym searching I even call to no avail.
This gym is 5-star but only when its manned properly.
Update- March 15,2020 i again am standing at desk waiting eagerly for a staff member.
I have been waiting since 0840hrs on this Sunday morning. No staff to be found. Members have called to no avail. Checked every room possible. No staff.
I use the personal trainer sessions in addition to my early morning workout routine for the past 2 years. Originally I was excited about having the gym so close to my house, but lately I have been feeling a little underwhelmed and hope things get addressed.
1. I really enjoy the group sessions with the personal trainer (Kyle). He comes up with a lot of fun variations week to week and encourages us throughout. We use a variety of exercises with weights and machines, but the lack of resistance bands has become an issue. There used to be enough to go around, however at my last session there was only one band and we each had to wait our turn for it. Something as simple and cheap as replacing bands when they break would help keep me satisfied.
2. Equipment upgrades are slow. I've been to other PF with a lot of cool equipment but here seems to be pretty standard stuff. I would like some kettle bells or a PF 360 to increase the options.
If those things were addressed, I would be happy to give this place a 5 star review. The staff and overall atmosphere are great and I would encourage people to come here.
Facility does not have sufficient equipment to support the classes that they offer. Case in point - there is one band to share among 5 participants. We each need a band. Furthermore the 1 band available may be too strong for some and not strong enough for others. As much money as we pay looks like they could invest in a few bands and other equipment needed by members.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Or any planet fitness for that matter. After I cancelled my membership, they charged me for the next three months. I confronted them about it a month ago, and since then I have called SEVEN times about the issue. They will tell you lies and that the "manager is working on it," when she is clearly not. I am having to go in in a few days to fix the issue in person. We will se if they actually give me my money back... if not my lawyer will be talking to them. Do not go here unless you want to be taken advantage of and scammed out of your money. The gym isn't even that great - save your time and money and go to a better gym. Extremely unhappy with the whole situation. Would give this PF a 0 rating if I could.
Happy to have one here! Visiting from Michigan on vacation and it was nice to see one so close.
Older equipment than what we have at my PF but very well maintained, clean and the staff was friendly. Weight is weight, no matter how old it is!
No complaints here! Love my Planet Fitness fam and glad they are all across the US.
I know I can get a workout in while on vacation.
If you can tolerate the rude, juvenile staff and ridiculous parking situation, it MIGHT be worth the $10-$20/month.
Great gym and not crowded when I've visited. It's central location may mean that it gets busy on weekday evenings

Seems pretty cool for the average person, however, not very accessible for people with disabilities. Some of the equipment was too close together to allow a person using a wheelchair to transfer on to the equipment. Additionally, the seats on some of the equipment were narrow, making it difficult for a person with disabilities to use. Some small adjustments could make this a great gym for everyone!

I've only been coming here for about a week, but I've been pleased with it. My first day, I was given a tour and after that, I've been pretty much free to roam as I wanted without being hassled. All over the web Planet Fitness gets alot of bad remarks, but I've been happy with it. This location has pretty good staff, who are always available. I see them cleaning almost every time I'm there. Most of the customers are good about wiping down the equipment after using it. They have a good selection of dumbbells and at least 2 of every kind of machine. LOTs of cardio machines. The men's locker rooms and showers are clean and well kept.

I know you get what you pay for, but man this place is bad. I quit before my annual fee--its not worth even the cheap price. I mean, the workers there do their best with what they have, but the whole corporation is evil. Also the clientele are less than friendly. I've almost been in an accident every time I went (and I went enough to earn a free drink after just two months) and on several occasions there were people smoking pot in the locker rooms. People misuse equipment and rooms and are rude to the other gym goers. This place is not worth the $10/month plus $40 annual fee. $160 a year to wreck my car and worry about getting my stuff stolen? No. Thanks.
I just tried to sign up at this location and I waited 30+ minutes. When I asked the gentleman behind the counter if there was anyone else that could help out up front, he said he was the only one working, and I highly doubt that is the case during the busiest time of day on a saturday!!! He only got through 2 customers during those 30+ minutes. Finally, as furiated as I was, I waited for him to finally help me. When I told him again that I needed to sign up, he turned around and helped another customer!!! That is definitely not how your customers/future customers should be treated!!! I left and doubt I will ever come back due to how understaffed and unhelpful your employees are! They don't care!
Best deal in town! Service is great here. They keep the gym and locker room clean and orderly. 24 hours open and personal training available if you want it.
This is an extremely nice gym for 10 bucks a month. The flexibility that is offered for 20 bucks a month is pretty phenomenal. Not the traditional gym with all of the free-weights, but there are plenty of Nautilus Type cable machines, and is more of a core fit type gym. Great place to work out if you are trying to stay in shape for a minimal investment.

This location is open 24/7 and has very helpful staff. It can be hard to find a parking space, but it is a nice Planet Fitness location. They offer different membership choices and they are affordable compared to other gyms in the area like Orange Theory. It is a popular location, so I would avoid peak hours.

Have been a member of this gym for almost three years. Staff is knowledgeable of equipment. The membership is super afforable and there is aways someone on staff day or night. Parking can get a little hairy in January and February with all the people making resolutions. Be careful to not park in any of the other businesses. They will tow your car.
I've only been here a handful of times, but I am impressed with how clean the facility is. I've yet to see a machine out of service twice in a row. The staff has been very friendly, especially the woman who gave me a tour when I signed up! The only complaints are the parking, and it does get crowded! They could easily put a PF across the street and it'd still be slammed at peak, after work hours. As far as gym memberships go though, this is really a great deal! Even the "black card" is cheap and has awesome perks - so stop waiting and sign up!
Best Gym around. For $22 a month, use any gym in the US. Including weight machines, free weights, cardio machines, hydro beds, and very nice Tanning beds. Can't beat it.
Cheap place to work out. Gets very crowded at peak times. Friendly and helpful staff. Thirty minute circuit is a great idea let down by lots of customers who camp out on one machine for ten minutes.
I have signed up for planet fitness a couple of times, due to its proximity to my house and my willingness to give things a couple of chances. I can say that this place is ok for absolute beginners and people who want to focus solely on cardio, but if you're looking for a challenging workout and are used to using free weights, forget about this place. The whole gym is set up to discourage and shame you if you try to gain more muscle than a yoga instructor, which is an awful business model in my opinion (most likely to avoid frivolous lawsuits, imo). However tons of people still go there, which also makes it difficult to use equipment for most of the day (had to go before 6a.m. or after 10p.m. to exercise without a wait).
Good as an emergency gym, but I've honestly gotten better workouts with an iron gym pull-up bar and a couple of dumbbells at home.
I will say that it is beginner friendly, but too much so in my experience. Still, if you're just starting to workout, looking to not spend much money, or just want to keep your health steady without a challenge, give them a try. Just don't set off that annoying "lunk alarm".
It's Planet Fitness, what can you say? I love their concept and I love the fact that they're open 24 hours. I visited this location while I was traveling. The staff was extremely friendly, the gym was very clean, and the equipment was in good working order.
