I started out doing a 30 day trial and quickly learned that if I wanted to commit to my health, I had to commit to this gym.
I've been an active person for many years - most recently I'd take Barre and yoga on class pass. I completed 100 classes on Class Pass and still had no results from all of the time, energy, and money spent. I had been telling myself I'd tone down/lose the 20 lbs I had gained from a surgery for almost 1.5 years before a friend told me to try MUV fit.
I'm so glad that I did. From the efficient intake, to the carefully crafted workouts, to the personalized attention from the trainers (I struggle with back issues and a weak-ish core), MUV fit took me to the next level. Once I committed, I got a coach who gave me some important, but tough love, about the importance of nutrition to weight loss. Daniel (owner) talked me through some setbacks and discouragement and feeling like I couldn't maintain my healthy eating while traveling for work.
Long story short, I've lost 10 lbs total since I started with the gym two months ago. I've practiced planning ahead, and finally had consistency in weight lifting exercises that are truly efficient. All the trainers are fantastic - with different styles - and I always learn from each and every one of them. The community is great. My only regret is that I'm relocating for a job soon, and I won't be around another two months to lose those next 10 lbs with MUV fit as my guide.
The group classes are a great alternative to the slightly more expensive personal training options, but as someone who has spent a lot of money on fitness, I can sure say this gym gives you the positive community and bang for your buck that you deserve!
