Dropping to two stars due to most recent 'renovation' and the lack of cleaning. The renovation simply consisted of over-crowding the gym with equipment from a location which was closed. Now we have ZERO room in free weight section. Dont look too closely under equipment or you may find the dust collection having a party that you were not invited to. Very disappointing.

Spacious, clean, good equipment, and enough cardio machines that I've never had to wait even during peak times. Sometimes there is a bit of congestion with the weight machines, but nothing ridiculous.

Also love their group classes, but the real winner is the Hot Yoga studio. They offer several different types of yoga in a combination of heated and non-heated classes as well as hot barre (at the Memorial location) nearly every day.

The best gym in Murfreesboro hands down. The manager Lauren runs a tight ship and is always professional. Would recommend this location to everyone. Up to date equipment and nothing stays out of order like other gyms I've visited. Love this place!!!!!!

This Golds Gym isn't worth going to if you want hot water during a shower. A lot of equipment is thrown around or broken. They will send you to collections if you miss a payment and they won't want to cancel your membership at all even if you want to. All they care about is getting your money. It is just not worth the hassle at this place. You would be wasting your money and your time. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Glad I signed up here. They have a CrossFit area with all the works. It's much cheaper for me to come here than a CrossFit gym - I have the certifications and instructing/programming experience. The locker room could be better though. It's typically kind of gross - I do not take showers there.

LADIES BEWARE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION!! Ladies, beware of the blonde headed guy behind the counter!! (he usually wears his hair in a man bun) I went to the gym with my husband and after our work out he was standing near the front desk waiting for me. While he was waiting for me he witnessed the blonde headed guy behind the counter giving out girls names as they would come in and scan their card to another individual. Yep. That's right. As girls came in and scanned their card one guy was saying to the blonde headed guy behind the counter "Oh she's hot. What's her name? I need to look her up on facebook." And the blonde headed guy would give out names (and who knows what other information) of the girls to this other guy. I don't know if the other guy works there but the one who was giving out the names does. As a woman, I feel this is unacceptable and I am very offended that an employee is giving out names/confidential information to others. My husband did try to contact corporate but the number he found does not let you talk to an individual. So he contacted the gym and spoke to an assistant manager who said that "this should not be happening and it would be addressed." Well I hope so. In my opinion that front desk associated (the guy with the blonde hair) should be terminated. I hope none of these girls are being put in harms way because now they could possibly being stalked on facebook. If something is not done regarding this matter, we will be looking to take our business elsewhere. I know that every gym has flaws. But for an associate to be giving out names of girls, or anyone in that matter, is unacceptable. As a member, I should be able to trust that my information is safe. I had to give one star in order to submit this review. But I would have honestly given it zero stars.

On 1-20-19 while at Golds Gym North. I witnessed at 3:00 pm that a white male working the desk was talking with a customer. A young lady walked by and the customer asked the employee for her name. The worker then got her name from the computer and shared that information with that customer that wanted her name. They then started to look for her on social media to what pictures she had on her profile. I believe this breaks customer confidentiality. This lady does not know that her name was shared by an associate at Goods Gym and that he used the gym data base to get her name.

Going at night is always the best time, there are no crowds or no personal training manager walking around consistently trying to get you to be their client at that time. The night staff who comes In at 10 or so could look and be way friendlier, and actually pay attention to customers instead of his Beats.

So I just read a review on here about "Starr." My experience was pretty similar. He was pretty aggressive in his methods of getting me to sign up for a personal training program... Reluctantly, I signed up.. However, while signing up he didn't inform me that I would be in "auto renewal" after my 6 months of training sessions were up.. So I ended up having to pay for another month that I never agreed to.. I had to call corporate to cancel and didn't get refunded on that 7th (unagreed to) month. I'd definitely try to avoid this guy and don't let him sell you anything.

The absolute worst gym. Some how we got tricked into a contract we where never aware of. Paid for the year just to cancel and them tell us you have to mail a certified letter to somewhere else and it will take 30 days to cancel. I said no sir I'm canceling I'm no longer under contract I will not pay for another month and he goes on about this letter. So reluctantly we mail this stupid.lettee and move out of state just to get a call from a debt collector saying we owe gold's gym $250 and I said no we canceled so we call again and the girl tells us oh we must not have gotten it just come in and speak with the manager and I told her we moved out of state and she's tells me to just mail the letter again. So here we are 9 months later and they still haven't corrected the false $250 that we DO NOT owe for an account we canceled.

Terrible gym. Limited facilities, unprofessional account management, constant broke equipment. I have held a membership with various Golds Gyms across the country since I was 16. These people reported me to collections although I pay for the membership every month and attend 4-5 days a week. The last straw is when they kicked me out in the middle of my workout bc I was wearing jeans. Shame on me for trying to squeeze in a session between classes. I would recommend you look elsewhere for your fitness needs.

They have the rudest employees here especially that rude white bitch named autumn. My girl came 5 mins before me and she gave her a free water, I walk in ask for a water and that bitch talkin bout they don't have free water. THEN what the fuck is the VIP membership for. I will be cancel my membership and am very disappointed in golds gym. Never thought I would get discriminated in the shithole.

Nonsense. When I email the person over the contracts about my upcoming contract being up that should cancel it. Not a certified letter. And then 30 days? Garbage.
