Amazing place to work out, but I have had customer service issues the entire time I have been a member.
Essentially, they messed up my "30-Day notice of Cancelation" contract. It is near impossible to cancel your membership, even if it is after your membership expires. I put in my notice 3+ Months in advance. Instead of them writing my notice saying I am done with my contract in April (May 2017 was the first month of my contract)... They wanted me to pay for the month of May, He literally said, "I'm sorry. But based on the 30 day policy and the notes on your account, it looks like your membership is scheduled to cancel once your last payment is fulfilled... If it is not, it will continue to stay open"
1)Why would I pay for an entire month outside of my 1 year contract, and not be able to use it for that month? Mind you, I haven't been there for 6+ months, and continued to pay for my membership, without complaint.
2) My contract ended in April anyway. I started in May last year, why would I pay for the next month of May, unless I was continuing my membership.
I had to call the gym, and talk to another manager who realized they had messed up on my notice. He said, "Oh, they must have thought since you were moving in June you would want to have your membership until then. They didn't input the last day of your membership as your last day you would be using the gym."
When I signed my notice, I made it extremely clear I wanted my membership to end at the end of my 1 year contract. I even confirmed -in March- with the owner, to make sure my membership was scheduled to end at the end of my 1 year, and it was confirmed. Very disappointed. Any communication you do -via text or email- SAVE; they will try to tell you they never said certain things. When on phone calls, I always had a few people listen, while they were on speaker, so I could have someone to verify that they did say what they did.
I had to take multiple breaks out of my work day to get this finally straightened out. I hope that this is the end... I do not want to continue to have payments taken out of my account when I am 300 miles away.
Like I said, amazing work out, however, the customer service leaves much to be desired.
