Go to the performance center to avoid a crowd. Sauna and pool is awesome. Poor review is for hours and location for price of amenities that could be done better.
There are so many great classes to chose from. My son loves the daycare room. The front desk staff knows me by my first name. This is my home away from home.

Experienced instructors, great classes and wonderful equipment if you want to go it alone. They offer more aquatic classes than anyone in the area. Warm pool classes are geared towards those who need better flexibility, strength and conditioning. Private locker rooms for families as well as men/women.

Good classes at a reasonable price. Nice salt water pool but hot tub is way too clorine ladden.
Great place to fit, multiple classes for everyone if every shape and size hah, from swimming arobics, to fitness training, love it.
Facility is great, very personable staff. The Only issue I have is many of the locks of the the lockers are worn out and should be relaced. Been a fan there for years. Love it!!

This is a one-stop-shop for any athlete. And always trying to improve on an already awesome experience. Friendly knowledgeable staff. And always immaculate. Equipment is always in top condition. Highly recommend!

Not a good place for single people. Unless you are about 6 foot 5" AND 300lbs and all muscle! As well as having arms larger than my head! The ladies will NOT give you the time of day here. Talk about gymtimidation here. It is severe! So many genetically gifted people {which I am not} that probably spent their whole life in a gym! I quit Sanford and started going to Planet Fitness. I have not been snobbed once there unlike my many snobbed experiences here at Sanford! I saw the ladies having conversations with the big muscle guys on a daily basis when I was a member there. A great place to work out though! Especially if your genetically gifted. Unlike me. I'm more of a computer geek. I guess gyms just aren't my thing.

The facility has always been very clean and very well equipped with modern state of the art equipment in my opinion. I would be nice if some people would not use the locker room like their own personal spa. Wrap yourself with a towel or put on some shorts for God sake. I never use the vanities because I've seen way more than anyone should have to.

I was a YMCA member for many years but Sanford is reasonably priced and in a class of their own.
I work out here a lot and I really enjoy this gym. There's two separate weight rooms so I've never felt cramped in this place. There's also a lot of other things to do here and they are starting on a big renovation. Great place!
The staff at the wellness center are very nice and knowledgeable. If you have questions they are always willing to help.
I went to Sioux falls therapeutic massage . Don does a great job and is super knowlagable.
