When I tell you they deserve all the stars!! I had the lasagna that was rich, creamy and filling! It is literally the best lasagna I have ever tasted...The dressing on the kale salad is ridiculously delicious!..Whenever I come back to Columbia this is my first stop!!!

Absolutely delicious food!! Definitely will be going back. Prices are not overrated. Finally a nice vegan restaurant to go to. Was well worth it!!

Enjoyed every part of this meal also had the chocolate cake and it was rich and delicious even the water was good (It had cucumber and I think Papaya) I will be going again this place better not ever close

I visited Universal Love Vegan Cafe for the first time last week for dinner and oh my, the food is good! I had the "crab cakes", collard greens and rice with a ginger, apple and lemon drink. So much food I had to put it in a take out carrier. Very friendly atmosphere and great customer service. I will be back again!

Closed on Mondays. Went during my lunch break had the bbq "chicken" strips, rice and beans and potatoes for 10.50 great deal the food was awesome I wish I could have really sat down and enjoyed my food instead of rushing. It was that good. The service was good, as a vegetarian I am noticing that real food tales a little longer than fast food but it was well worth it. The atmosphere was welcoming. I think they will do well. I will be back on the weekend to really sit down for a great meal.

Despite the long drive to get to the place and how in the cut it is, I have been here quite a few times and it never disappoints. If you are looking for good quality vegan food, I would definitely come here. The bbq "chicken" is so good that me and my homegirl question if it's really vegan lol. The collard greens and mac no cheese is also bomb. And the spanish rice is good as well. They aren't heavy with their spices which I hope they continue to do. Not everyone likes a lot of spice in their food. They are also a bit more reasonable in their prices than other places. The only downside is the location. It's in a bad area. I had a man who didn't seem all there, come up to my car to ask me for money twice...before I went in and after. It would have gotten 5 stars if it wasn't for the location. If they can move closer to downtown or somewhere safer, I would probably go there everyday.

This was my first 100% vegan meal...and I Loved it! Had the chicken and waffles w/potatoe hash. The waffles were amazing as well as the chicken. Will be back!

if I could give more than five stars, i would. Being a vegetarian for over 8 years, I have tried an array of veggie meat. By far, this has been the best! great customer service, and quality homemade food.

My 2nd try at vegan cafes in Columbia. This one was by far the best. The mac was amazing, along with peppered steak! Price was really good as well.

Service is good and the food is good also...a lil over priced for my liking...and some menue items are not offered you wont know till you ask for it...idk why it's on the board if it's not in the kitchen...other than that it's a great place to eat.

If you're new to being vegan or if you been one for years like me, this is the place to go! Other places are bit too heavy and a bit too pricey, Universal Love Cafe is like right in the middle! The young entrepreneur who owns the spot has also the African store next door. The chakrazana is to die for! Also the rasta pasta and purple cabbage. I pretty much eat here daily, open 7 days a week. And the apple beet ginger juice is made fresh to order with organic produce. Can't get any better than this.

Delicious vegan food, generous portions, great amount of options, clean dining area, and wonderful staff! Dined here for the first time today and learned of all the different events they have..cookouts, documentary& dinners, cooking classes, KIDS cooking classes,...so much great stuff:)

The food was very good! I was surprised to find a vegan place in Columbia. The place is in a little bit rougher area so you should be prepared for that, but the service was great, the atmosphere was cool and the food was amazing!
