Very clean and organized gym. Friendly and professional staff. Signing up was a breeze and even got a free shirt! Would definitely recommend PF to anyone looking to get in shape for the cheapest price out of the gyms!
Staff was great and let me have the first 24 hours free. All equipment was quality and clean. I wasn't bothered by anyone. I went back on day 2, and it was $20. I passed it off as $10 per workout, but $20 for a guest pass is pretty steep IMO.

Best gym in Columbia! Great value, clean, spacious floor area, modern equipment. Staff does an amazing job keeping up with the memberships demand. Awesome management team

This is one of the worst planet fitness locations in the country. It's very new, yes, but the environment is not great. The employees literally do nothing. I can't count how many times the paper towels are empty but they are just standing there and don't check them.
They also don't care about how many rules are broken. Every day there are people training others even though when you sign up they say it's not ok. People slam weights, grunt constantly. Last week, there was an old guy wearing sandals in the weight area - told the employee and she did nothing. Today, a guy was swinging golf clubs he brought in for practice, nobody did anything about it.
The guy in the mornings that always wears the white polo, who I assume is a manager but doesn't wear a name tag so impossible to tell, is exceptionally rude every day, especially if you bring up an issue to him.
I've been a member at other planet fitness locations, and although not as new they were so much better. Apparently I have to have my membership here for 90 days before I can transfer to another location.
Great staff, good variety of high-quality equipment, clean, and very affordable. The hydrotherapy and massage chairs, tanning, etc., make it an even better value. I also love the fact that I can visit other locations when I'm working in different areas. The only thing I could wish for is the option of group fitness classes such as aerobics, yoga, etc., but I definitely can't expect that for the price!

A simpler gym compared to others that have saunas, pools, steam rooms, racquetball, yoga, spin, aerobics, etc. Which is why I give it only 3 stars. But the price cannot be beat: $10 a month. For someone that wants weights and aerobic machines, and knows how to work out on own, a great deal.

Gets very busy in the afternoons to the point where there isn't room in the gym or the parking lot- but if you go in the mornings it's great. Jenny at the check-in in the mornings is very nice and welcoming. Also, it's cheap and in a central location. I really do think they need to expand the area though, it's getting to be to small (but that's mostly for the afternoon crowd.)

Great workout plus massage chairs.
Friendly helpful staff, but they don't hover over you or try to sell you more expensive plans. Spotlessly clean facility. Nice equipment. Free bagles, yum. Seriously, it's a fantastic place. This is my 4th gym I've been a member of, and I won't ever go back. PF is the best!!
Great place, though I miss traditional free weights, but not the ripped t-shirt egotists that often frequent those other places. PF is immaculate with new equipment. Clean, with available stations for cleaning the equipment before and after your use. There are plenty of treadmills and other cardio equipment and I have yet to see them full.
As for the weights and weight machines, there are separate areas for different types of training. I have yet to be unable to continue my workout due to equipment failures or having to wait to use anything as there are multiples of most everything. I've even started using the tanning services and massage chairs - the reservation system makes it easy to get in and out without waiting.
Planet fitness gets a bad rap....but it is great, especially for the beginner. And for 10 bucks a month how can you go wrong?
This location is the absolute best! They have so many different machines to choose from and the locker is room is always in very great condition. The tanning beds are very nice and clean. The WiF is really good. The staff is very friendly! Jesse is always super nice and helpful all of the time!

I can't say enough good things. The layout is fantastic, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the showers are awesome. The tanning beds are better than any tanning salon and the hydro massage chairs are fantastic. Inexpensive and no commitment. There's also a really good mix of people who work out there. (There are older people, college students, and everyone in between). Super comfortable and clean environment! I've seen some comments from people that the staff wasn't helpful. That hasn't been my experience AT ALL. On my first day Charlotte gave me a tour and got me through the sign up process quickly. Today I went up to the counter and asked for advice on learning to do a pull up. Gah I wish I could remember his name, but he enthusiasitically showed me two machines and how to use them to get me ready! Im excited about working out for the first time, and a lot of that has to do with the supportive staff!
As I walked in and waited in the long line I was put off repeatedly. I was coming from another planet fitness location. I felt like I was a pain for them and repeatedly put off and told to go on my app on my phone to fix things. One guy I wish I knew his name he was extremely welcoming and tried to help but he was clearly not management but everyone else was non-accommodating. I'm disappointed and will go to another fitness center. The only reason I gave one star is only because of that one guy. I should have gotten his name.

My experience with Planet Fitness was more than I expected. There are a variety of rooms that gives beginners a more semi-private area to workout. The hydro massage chairs is very relaxing afterwards. Bring a lock, earphones, and water and enjoy doing something great for your body and have fun too! The staff is great ( kudos Kayla)!
So great!! Everything is new and clean. Has all of the equipment you could want and then some. Many open areas. Very nice tanning/relaxation area. Just choose the time you go wisely.. this pf is becoming very popular.
Went for the first time to Cayce this afternoon and was very disappointed in the attentiveness of the staff. The sun was going down and shining hard in the front windows so the gym was very hot. The 5 employees behind the counter, yes 5, of course didn't notice because they were campfired shooting the breeze. Not that the place was dirty, heck, it's brand new, and I don't need any training help, I just would hate to be paying all that labor and getting less than nothing out of it.
I love my Planet Fitness! The staff are awesome. They greet you when you check in and are available for any questions you may have. There are a lot of machines to workout on, so it never gets old. The tanning booths are very clean and very bright. I love how the membership gives you time to meet with a trainer. They talk with you and come up with a workout plan you do to reach your goals. I met with Michelle and loved her! Keep up the great work PF.
Staff has been phenomenal! The owner is extremely nice and the entire team has just been amazing! The space is beautiful. By far a wonderful addition to our Cayce neighborhood!
