The staff is friendly, courteous, and professional. There is never a shortage of workout equipment. Seldom will you find an inoperable machine; if you do the staff will fix it immediately. If you need assistance the staff will come to your assistance.
The place is as clean as can be, it's warm and inviting on the inside and plenty of tvs to keep you busy. Never met anyone unfriendly between the patrons and the crew, but I especially want to acknowledge staff member Riley. Unfortunately I had to cancel my membership due to work dominating my time, but he he was energetic, fun, and balanced getting me handled and guiding multiple other customers along without making me feel shunned. No guilt trip for canceling and it was ultimately a less than five minute process. Thank you Riley and PF, I hope to return when life suits the situation a little better!

One of my favorite places in Columbia. Friendly staff, updated machines, and I rarely, if ever, have to wait on a workout station.
this gym is like night club If you're going to go to the gym then workout don't just be on your cellphone texting or does sitting on the equipment while other people trying to use it not a good look for the gym .if you want to sit on equipment or txt or selfies then just stay home pls
New location in the mall is new and aethestically nice but still very disappointing. No one at the desk for check in or services on a weekend, had to wait just to sign in. Community TVs that they will not change... No NFL games on a Sunday?!?!

I visited this Location on July 13, 2018, at approximately 1:00 p.m. As I scanned my membership card I was met by a rude, tall, light complexion African American young man. He began by cracking jokes on me concerning my attire, no hello, no welcome to planet fitness, just rude jokes concerning my attire. I am a 55 year old retired law enforcement officer who is in excellent shape, I almost went old school on the young man, but decided to workout and never return to this particular planet fitness. The physical condition of the facility is excellent and very well maintained, but the childish behavior of staff is not appreciated, one day that young man will say the wrong thing to the wrong person. Judgement free zone, really?
In your response to my review you stated that I Should come in to review your policy and procedures, that makes no sense, what is it in your policies and procedures, is there something in your policies and procedures that state it's ok for your staff to belittle members? I'm not sure you realize it, but you have a problem on your hands, and I'm not it, I don't' need to correct anything by coming in to speak with staff, I already have, which is to no longer return to this particular gym. I have a choice, go to another gym, your in the business to make a profit, your one of the many businesses trading on the stock market looking to grow. I have no horse in this race, because there are millions of horses for me to to ride, but you are running a business, which is only one horse. Coming from someone who has supervised young folks I am sure realize who your problem children are, make a difference, sometimes it's a pain but well worth it in the end.

Inflexible and poor customer service!!! I will never return as a customer. cancelled service 2 months ago and found that account was never cancelled after all. Frankie the GM refused to honor the cancel date and refund me any money. The evidence was clear and he decided to ignore my account, notes from employee on my account when I cancelled and decided his iron clad contract and the extra $40 was worth more than the negative pub and lost customer for life. Thank you Frankie for making my future gym membership decisions that much easier.

Its a great gym. The new location offers plenty of space and options. I would like some afternoon classes and weekend ( not sure if planet fitness has branched into all that yet.). other than that its great!

The assistant manager, Cameron, went above and beyond when we needed help moving to a new location. He even called the new place to confirm everything was in order. Great experience.
Staff here has always been friendly with me. Equipment in ok shape. Great tanning booths. Bathrooms need better upkeep though.
Terrible atmosphere, I workout 7 days a week. Dirty equipment, dirty bathrooms, staff with attitudes, only plus is that this isn't my home location. I am a very physically fit person and THE ONLY REASON I HAVE THIS MEMBERSHIP IS THAT THIS GYM IS OPEN 24 HOURS... If it wasn't for the times it was open I wouldn't keep this membership, I'd pay 2/3/4 times more to go to a gym that has good staff. Good atmosphere. Good equipment. The equipment is so crammed together and everyone is right on top of each other, I get it your moving and it'll be bigger sooner or later but address the issues with the staff becsuse that's where it starts. I work from 430AM to 9/10PM so no gyms are available after hours for me. I usually go to the PF Two Notch and that one is GREAT! staff is excellent and inviting, equipped with just about every single piece of equipment most people would need minus heavier dumbbells for obvious reasons (PF no gymtimidation) restrooms, showers, tanning beds all in excellent clean condition. They just show pride in their location.
Brought a guest to this franchise (not my home club) to have a her be the subject of a very inappropriate joke regarding her size while exiting the gym. Very immature and tasteless staff. Will not be returning.
--UPDATE Reached out, left detailed account with a supposed "manager" the next morning (Tuesday 01/02/18) after originally being told by staff that answered there was no manager there. Asked for my name and home club and I have not been contacted. Not at all anticipating some type of "discount" or anything like that just wanted it to be known that this should NEVER happen.
Always clean. The staff is always available. It is hard to find equipment during rush hours 4pm-6pm. The tanning booths are standing beds that are efficient. Great gym for $10/mo
Great equipment, good variety, but taking away stars for the showers. There's only two available for the men. Handicap one out of order apparently. There's 2 big open areas with chairs directly across from the showers, I'm assuming that's supposed to be changing room? Turn at least one of those into showers. The shower itself is incredibly small, I was slamming my elbows into the slimy walls. Hook right at the shower was loose, I hung my towel on it and about took it out of the wall. I left feeling dirtier when I went in, the floor was dirty.
Even with it being a small gym, it is a great gym. The employees are so friendly and always great you with a smile. I had an issue where another member blocked my car door and Tyler, an employee of planet fitness for my car out for me. He didn't gripe or complain, he actually was very nice the entire time. I appreciate great customer service and that is what I am always given everytime I go to planet fitness at Dutch square. I appreciate them for being so helpful and polite.
I don't hate this place. The staff is young and friendly which is great because young usually means rude and indifferent. I wish there was a sauna. Meh, my membership is 20 bucks.
Extremely rude staff. I called to cancel as I am about 70 miles away...I was told I would need to come in and pay a remaining balance. There was no attempt to resolve just bad attitude cutting me off and telling me what they cant do. Stay away if you value your time and money. Also if you prefer good customer service.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. I really enjoy going. Gym clean. Staff is always wiping the equipment down as well the members. .
I have been a member for a few months but only used twice. I went in today (7/28/17) to cancel due to my back issues. I was informed that I was under a contract. I signed up on line and DID NOT sign a contract. The very hateful girl at the counter told me some of the memberships have contracts (not what is advertised). She said I will have to pay $58.00 to cancel my membership (don't plan on doing this, I am reporting this to the Better Business) . I don't mind taking something from the doctor stating I have back issues, but I thought It was a non contract club. I would not EVER sign up with this club again, and I will spread the word about the way the "Contract" is put into place.
