Debra has a deep respect for the lineage of Iyengar yoga and takes pride in transferring that knowledge in a clear and comprehensive way. her studio is equipped with beautiful props including a trestle and blankets from india. as a teacher, debra is attentive and discerning. her knowledge in the iyengar style is deep and valuable. I drive two hours because there is so much to learn from her and i am happy to call her my teacher.

Debra is an awesome teacher... Small studio with individualized instruction. We are newbies and Debra has made us very comfortable... we feel fortunate we found her and her studio

Outstanding! She is uniquely passionate about this practice! This is THE ONLY YOGA STUDIO in Charleston that knows the art from the classical perspective! This is no merged or hot-pot of different disciplines. Here is where you will get the REAL Yoga. Ignore the one-star-bandit review! Totally uncalled for and very misplaced! I have never not heard back from this instructor when I call in.

This is real yoga. Deb knows her yoga and how to use it to correct injuries and daily wear. I've been going for 3 years and I feel better after each session.

I wish I could have visited this studio. I emailed the instructor with questions and did not receive an answer. I had hoped for more from a studio with such an attachment, and certification to the name Iyengar.

Charleston is lucky to have this little gem. Small studio with individualized knowledgeable instruction. Debra is a dedicated teacher who obviously loves to share the Iyengar Method. Thanks Debra for bringing this style of yoga to Charleston. It's been long overdue!

A dedicated teacher in an elegantly decorated studio. Debra has walked me through poses that I didn't think I could have done. Early morning quiet hours at this studio is the best way to start the weekend or to finish a hectic day. Highly recommended.
