Mission yoga is a wonderful community and place to practice. Mission has been my main studio for 7 years now and really love coming in to all the smiling faces, diversity in classes and their concern for your well being. Come take a class and find the hOMe studio you have been looking for.

Cannot recommend Mission Yoga enough. I would suggest you attend a class with my favorite instructor, but they are all my favorites! Each teacher offers their own insightful lens on yoga. This is not a hot yoga or power studio. You can expect intentional movement with breath and a heightened sense of clarity and awareness when you leave. This space is exceptional- you must go!

I have been an active member of many yoga studios over the years and Mission Yoga is without a doubt the highest quality studio that I have come across.

I find this studio to be one of depth and maturity in comparison to others. There is an emphasis on personal transformation and growth that is rare in today's culture. The true beauty of yoga is lost in the typical manic and over-marketed new-age yoga studios that seem to be popping up everywhere. Mission Yoga provides its members with a sense of meaning.

The teachers are all extremely knowledgeable, experienced and fun to be around. The teachers always make themselves available to talk. They encourage your curiosity and inspire you to push your limits. Each teacher provides a unique perspective on the yoga discipline and its philosophies. They each emphasize a different school of thought ranging from ancient wisdom to cutting-edge science. This gives you a well-rounded education and allows you to integrate yoga into your life with great effectiveness.

The community that has formed around the Mission studio is wonderfully inclusive and generous. Mission has created the space for interactions to spark and friendships blossom. This is lovely because you start to feel a sense of acceptance and accountability to your practice. An active, stable and healthy yoga community is scarce these days. Mission fills this void.

I applaud you for taking the time to read this and I advise you to give Mission a try. You will not regret it.

Great studio, teacher and clientele. I was welcomed as a drop in and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

I first started taking yoga as a way to be proactive with debilitating anxiety. I had taken a random class here and there. But it wasn't until I took a class from Kelly Jean, back before MIssion debuted, that a) felt true relief from the years of tension and desperation I was carrying with me b) I understood how powerful this practice could be as a life changer and not just a physical endeavor. She has carried the sense of practical life purpose, along with Shelley and the whole staff, into every class. Thank you, KJ and Mission yoga, I owe you a lot. 85.5 stars if it was possible.

I really enjoyed the couple of visits I had to Mission Yoga while I was in town. I especially liked Kelly Jean's class as I found her to be refreshingly authentic and a skillful communicator. Very descriptive instruction so even if you are new, you will be able to follow. Very cool atmosphere with a bright room and cool garage doors. From a yoga practitioner of over a decade, I recommend checking out this studio!

Mission Yoga is my favorite studio in Charleston, and quite possibly one of the best teams I've practiced with in the world. I've been dismayed by this new cultural obsession with "hot yoga" and LOVE that Mission's classes are never heated and focus instead on building heat in the body naturally through breath and movement. Their teachers are extremely knowledgeable, approachable, and attentive. Classes are alignment based and always deeply rooted in the history and anatomy of this ancient practice. Spirituality is celebrated in a way that is universal and accessible to people of all faiths and cultures; providing tangible examples of the intrinsic connection between mind, body, spirit and the value of creating balance in all areas of our lives. I'm forever grateful to the Mission Yoga team for creating this space for physical expression and self-exploration.

Words cannot begin to describe how magical this place is. I feel so incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon such a well rounded yoga community. All teachers are so well versed in their own practices, but no two class you will take are the same. The meditation classes offered also make a great foundation for someone who wants to start a practice or for someone looking to deepen their current practice.

Lastly Mission does a great job in bringing like minded individuals together and creating a sense of togetherness. If you are interested in connecting with yourself (and sometimes others) on a deeper level spiritually, physically, and mentally through yoga and meditation; I highly recommend this place!
