A great space with equally great instructors. I've taken multiple classes here with a variety of instructors and I've found each session to be beneficial. I will definitely be returning.
I'm an avid yogi (7+yrs), and moved from Atlanta recently. I gave a few studios a try before falling in love with Community Yoga. What I love about CY - 1) It's chill. The other studios were either so packed you couldn't move, or so pretentious I felt like everyone was just there to show off their new Lulu pants. 2) The instructors are super personal. They know my name, my practice, and I really like their vibe. 3) There is plenty of parking. 4) It's reasonably priced. 5) A variety of class types, and skill levels. 6) they don't charge to borrow towels
Community Yoga is appropriately nestled in the artsy, eclectic, and warm shops of Avondale. I have taken several classes at this studio, and enjoyed each one. The teachers are knowledgable and make every student feel comfortable in the space. There is ample room for changing, and props, hand towels, and cool wash cloths are provided. The rates are very competitive, and they offer several options for new students to maximize their time trying out the space at reduced cost.

I've had such an excellent experience at CCY so far. I've been attending about a month. I've taken classes with Caroline and with Stacy, and really like their styles. The studio is small, clean, and cute, and stocked with so many props to use. They have mats in case you don't have your own. I leave each class feeling like I did something good for myself. Additionally, I feel like these are some of the most affordable yoga classes I've seen in Charleston.

Loved it! The studio has such a welcoming feel and the space is great :) Mandy led a wonderful class for both beginners and more practiced yogis! Highly recommend, and my fiancé and I will definitely be back!

AWESOME! Amazing instructors, great space, perfect for any level yogi
This was so nice to find while visiting Charleston! Went to Katie's class and loved it, great flow, and energy. Loved the cold lavender towel as well. The only slight downside was my borrowed mat smelled a bit (hey it's understandable) and when I realized, it was too late- so check yours if you borrow haha!
I went for the first time in almost a year last night to the Monday night $5 beginner yoga with Stacy Hannah. Stacy was great! She kept the mood light and fun and the class was challenging (in the best way) for beginners or even intermediate yogis. I hadn't been there since the renovations and they seem to be done really well and everything is really crisp and beautiful. I love the teal colors. However, the acoustics in the room make it very loud when people are in the lobby area talking before and after class. Sound panels or rugs might help!
What a nice event you had last night!
Really great people with no intimidation...even though I butchered all of my yoga moves!
I LOVE Community Yoga! The classes are small and the instructors are all fantastic. Every class is different than the last so it's never boring. If you are new to yoga or have been doing it for years .. CY is the place for you!
Very welcoming, not super crowded and awesome variety. I love the use of aromatherapy and great music.
