Lots of equipment, lots of room people are not on top of each other. Not an intimidating crowd. Needs better trainer and classes
It's a nice gym at an affordable cost. I am actually quite surprised to read negative reviews. The gym could use a row machine, it had everything else I wanted. The staff are wonderful people who actually are committed to this lifestyle as well from my experience.

The reason I don't rate the providence gym higher is the lack of equipment. They are great for some things, such as benches, pull down/ row machines, smith machines free weights... But are horribly short when it comes to most hammer strength, and arm back and shoulder machines. Legs are well covered. Also plenty of cardio machines.
I like the shakes a lot. I also like the movie/cardio room option. The staff is friendly and helpful when needed.

Honestly, I don't understand what all of the negativity is all about. I've been going for a few months now. I've never been screwed out of money, the staff is always friendly, and they are VERY clean. There's always someone walking around cleaning things, vacuuming, and cleaning the floors. There was even a member of the staff that was walking around last week giving away free samples of their fresh blended shakes to the members. They have a lot of machines and it's definitely worth $10 a month
