Brian is fantastic. His understanding of anatomy is unsurpassed. After multiple attempts to improve my chronic back and neck pain with various other specialties I am finally working with someone whose knowledge and compassion are helping me get results!

I have to admit, I was a skeptic at first. I went in to see Brian hoping to improve my posture (which, in turn, I was hoping would help me bilateral lower arm tendonitis). I saw him around 6-8 times for rolfing treatments and followed some of his suggestions outside of the office. Well, to my pleasant surprise, I've received multiple comments from people who've known me for years noting an improved posture! And my tendonitis pain has largely resolved (although I've been laying of weights, so tough to know if that's due to postural change or rest). Definitely highly recommend for posture and other nagging sports-related injuries.

Top Notch! I am a bodyworker and am very picky about who I work with for my own needs. I came to Brian for some chronic issues and he impressed me with not only the hands-on work and careful attention to my body, but his knowledge, resources, and insights as well. It is rare to find someone who is so caring and knowledgeable and who takes the time to get to know your needs. I am grateful to have found him and highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their state of wellness. Thank you Brian!!

I started seeing Brian because of low back pain caused by an unstable vertebrae in my lumbar spine. I decided to do 10 sessions, and have been really happy with the results. Working with Brian has been more like a team effort than laying on massage table waiting for someone to "fix" me, and with that has been a real learning process. Brian has been part body worker and part teacher during the sessions, always stopping to explain how things are connected when something significant shifts or just to give a mind visual to the deep core of the body. He is both knowledgeable and intuitive. Working with him over the past months has given me a new sense of my body and how to work with it and it's idiosyncrasies to maximize both function and my own sensory experience. Through the process he has given me information on ways to move to provide options out of habitual movements that I may have began to protect from injury but now contribute to pain and lack of mobility.
As a yoga teacher myself, I have felt really comfortable and receptive to Brian's yogic sort of method of teaching and bodywork and have found that seeing him has not only changed my experience of my body but has also contibuted to my own work as a yoga teacher.

Brian is amazing! I could not have had a better experience. I came to Brian after over six months of dealing with (and expending a great deal of time, money, and pain on) a significant structural hip injury as well as associated soft tissues issues in basically every muscle and tendon from my knee to my hip. Prior to beginning Rolfing, I had undergone three months of physical therapy, acupuncture, massage therapy, various forms of myofascial therapy, three orthopedists, and cortisone injections. Brian was able to figure out what was actually going on in this mess of a situation where no other professional I had dealt with was able to, and helped me address them one at time in a manner that is sensitive to the way in which everything works together. Brian helped me understand structurally how everything was working (and not working), and I can say at this point my incredibly stubborn issues are about 98% improved. I ultimately had to have surgery to fix a couple of structural issues, but I credit Brian with the vast majority of my improvement. Absolutely the highest recommendation!
