I really enjoyed a few of the instructors there (like Brianna and Caitlin), but mostly felt the environment to be rather superficial. There was also zero modifications offered for body style or skill level and I have been practicing for 5+ years, so I am by no means a beginner. One of my first classes there, one instructor sarcastically pointed out that we could go into child's pose if we needed a rest and, while a huge portion of participants LAUGHED at this sarcastic remark, I was in child's pose taking a rest. This is not what I call an open, loving or safe space to experience bodywork. Yoga is hard for some of us. It brings up trauma and other goodies stored in our body. If we don't feel safe and welcomed, you are not doing your job as facilitators.
