The sense of community at Yoga Bhoga is such a wonderful, powerful draw! Their teachers are the highest quality in Portland and their Water Avenue studio just feels amazing. I love walking into Yoga Bhoga and feeling everything start to reset. Thank you for everything you guys do!

The best yoga studio I've found in Portland!

The studio and the community here feel incredibly warm & welcoming.

The instructors are fantastic! I'm always impressed by how much the instructors know about the body as well as the teachings/principles of yoga. I've never had an instructor here who didn't impress me. I always leave feeling as if I've been well-supported and well-cared for.

A great place for people with any level of experience.

As a physical therapist and aspiring-yogi I can't recommend them highly enough!

Yoga Bhoga is my favorite studio. Meghan is an amazing teacher who encourages every student at every level. When I first joined, I wasn't sure I would stay with the studio, but after a few weeks, Meghan knew my name and greeted me every time I came in. She invests so much of her time and energy into remembering each of her students, where they are in their practice and what challenges they're working with. Though I tend to stick with Meghan's classes, I've taken classes with a few other instructors at the studio and each one has brought different energy to a class, but they're always welcoming and encouraging.

Hands-down, the best yoga studio. We drive 45 minutes to attend class here when we are in Oregon. Such a variety of classes throughout the day taught by incredibly gifted teachers, each with their own style and energy. Men and women, beginners and experts, young and old, and everyone in between will feel welcome and comfortable here. A couple stalls for changing and a limited selection of quality yoga gear is available for sale.

Many good things to say about Yoga Bhoga!
The studio is wonderfully tasteful and light. From the colorful muted rainbow curtains to the beautiful wood floor and other tasteful art, it's a pleasant room to be in. The teaching staff is lovely and energetic. For example, class with Emily Light is uplifting and inspiring. From picking up on her dedication and enthusiasm to appreciating her thoughtful assists, it is a meaningful experience, more than just a workout. There are numerous excellent teachers to choose from, which is also a great selling point.

Some of the best and most knowledgeable teachers I have ever encountered.

I started practicing at Yoga Bhoga this winter- and fell in love! a few weeks after starting there I joined their 40 day workshop offered in the new year. My experience in that program transformed my life, my thoughts, my habits, and my yoga practice. I would do it all again, and just might! Since then, I have been regularly going 2 times a week. The simple, beautiful space and the smart, kind, thought provoking teachers (and owner) keep me coming back!

Yoga Bhoga is a really nice studio in the heart of SE Portland. I had a great time practicing with several teachers at this warm space. My favorite class at Bhoga was the Acro Jam Session on Friday evening which was followed by a potluck and impromptu massage party! Definitely not your average Friday, but that's what makes Portland Portland right? :)

I have been to four classes with four different teachers: two were excellent, and two I walked out of. I left from annoyance when it became clear the teacher would never stop talking for the entire class. Talk talk talk, they thought they were the Oracle. Very unrestful. Parking is difficult, and thumping music drifts up from downstairs. The class starts out with the room rather cold, and it seems like the heating system doesn't have a thermostat, because whatever I wore for the start of the class soon becomes very uncomfortable. I am 60, and have been doing yoga for 15 years, but the active classes could easily be too long and physically demanding for me, and there aren't many gentle classes to choose from - all of which restrict this studio to a somewhat narrow band of the population. I wish them well: the two teachers I liked, I really liked, but my schedule is not regular enough to always attend the same class. I will probably not stay with this studio when the introductory offer runs out...still looking for The One,
