I absolutely love this studio. All the teachers I've taken class with are supportive and skilled. Vinyasa classes are definitely challenging enough to get a little bit of a sweat going! I've been practicing for a couple years and it keeps me really interested. Yet, poses offered with modifications for if you're just starting out with yoga. They have all sorts of different styles of yoga, but I tend to just stick to the the vinyasa classes.

PLUS, it's donation-based with a monthly membership option that is less than half of what a usual yoga studio would charge. I can't say enough good things about this place, I love it!!

Classes with Sarah are so relaxing. I feel calm and revitalized by the unique poses that she presents to the class.

A true staple of Down Town Portland. They offer donation based classes every day of the week with a wide range of skill levels and yoga styles, from slow yin classes to fairly intense high paced Power Yoga classes. The instructors are all passionate, professional, patient and motivating. The owner Paul is a really nice guy and teaches a few of the classes every week. Friday nights has a great recovery yoga class that is one of the most tranquil classes I have taken. They set the standard in Portland for accessible and powerful yoga. They are located directly across from a red and blue line stop and a couple blocks away from a yellow and green line stop. Also conveniently located near the waterfront and some great cafes and restaurants.

I am so glad I discovered yoga at this amazing studio! Alicia and Heather's classes are so great I've been recommending all my friends and relatives.

My wife and I were really looking forward to a vinyasa flow practice here the day after Thanksgiving, but sadly the teacher failed to show up. Hopefully this isn't the norm for this studio because it seems to have a good vibe and we were thankful that David stepped-in and taught a yin class. Much love brother!

I travelled the world experiencing yoga all over, Yoga on Yamhill is a special place. I love the vibe, the teachers, everything. It's so refreshing to see this donation based studio so successful surrounded by for profit yoga businesses. Check it out! You have nothing to lose :)

A perfect spot for a traveling yogini. Lots of options for classes and mats and props to share. Thanks for being here!

I was in Portland for a few days and went to an early morning class at Yoga on Yamhill. The idea of making a donation rather than having a fixed class price is refreshing. The studio had gorgeous exposed brick walls that created a grounded ambience. Sara taught a beautiful vinyasa flow with options for all. It was a wonderful way to start the day. Thank you!

Donation based doesn't mean free! If you can't always give, try sometimes because these folks are amazing and I hope they stay in business forever! I love all the classes, and they will help you accommodate moves if you're a fluffy body chick like me. I'd give more stars if I could!

Great yoga studio! Donation based so no worries about it being too expensive. Friendly knowledgeable instructors for all levels.
