While I would give the station 5 stars for the fitness center, prices and even part of their aquatic department.... I have to take the time to let others know about the experience we had with their dance classes... to say it was an unorganized mess would be an understatement. The director of the classes is either fairly new or still trying to get everyone on the same page and not succeeding. Needless to say - we have been doing the baby ballet classes all summer and never have I felt that the older "babies" were being taught anything substantial. It was a bunch of kids just running around screaming most of the time, a very young teacher that could not get them to listen except on the rare occasion all the stars aligned. And even though I do realize that it's very difficult to get a bunch of young toddlers to pay attention, I truly believe it wouldn't have been like a zoo in that room if there were multiple teachers that had more experience. Aside from all of this - we were supposed to have a dance recital today and it was close to impossible to get information regarding it, rehearsal times, clothing attire, location, etc... if I hadn't called myself on more than one occasion I would never have known anything about the recital details. Noone is on the same page, it's an awful mess. I definitely want to keep my daughter in ballet, but I will not be continuing her lessons here. Also - if its 30 min past your opening time on a Sunday, your young employees need to know that the phone lines should be on. I had to drive up there with my sick child, at 8 months pregnant to inform someone/ANYONE that we couldn't make the recital due to her being sick. When I said I wasn't able to reach anyone to the director, he dumfoundedly looked at the phones while 5 other employees were just standing there and stated - oh I guess they hadn't turned the phones on yet....... smh. I'm disappointed to say the least.
