They have the updated equipment and offer personal trainers. Also have an indoor pool. Silver Sneakers classes are also offered.

Great facility to workout! Plenty of machines and friendly staff! Also works perfect for if you have kids.

This is a great place to be able to get the information on what you need to do for your body to be able to both build up muscle and trim down the fat. I highly recommend this. Work within your means.

Just started going here but so far it has been a great experience. I will update my review after attending for a month or so. The staff have been friendly and having the option of childcare so my wife and I can workout together is great.

Decent gym for body builders. Equipment isnt kept up with very well, resistance bands and foam rollers were always missing or broken along with some knobs on machines. Had a few frustrating moments with billing but with time management helped me out. I recommend for experienced body builders, not a place for beginners or those uncomfortable around a loud high energy work out facility.

Usually pretty decent.....but why is it 0520 and doors still not open?!

Great place to get a good workout. Staff dosent bother you and allows you to do what ever you want even if it's the wrong way to use the equipment.

Would be the best gym; however they advertise they have a sauna/steam room at their location, but I have not seen the sauna /steam room which is normally in the locker room.

As far as equipment goes for, body building Is decent here. Maintenance isn't the best and management sucks but the capabilities are there. Better options out there but not the worst in moore.

Great staff. It gets busy around 430 to 7 but they have so much equipment you can still get a lift in.

In Feb, before my due date, I was finally able to get my account frozen and did so over the phone. March 1st I called to see about getting it done again. I was told a message would be left for the General Manager and he should be getting back with me the next day.
3-2-18, I hadn't heard from the GM so I called. I was told he, the GM, was about to leave in 30 minutes. I rushed out and went to Gold's Gym to ask the GM what I could do to maybe get my account frozen for a month or 2. As i was sitting and waiting the GM comes out and starts speaking to somebody else and they go into his office. I spoke to a guy named Taylor, did a great job btw or so i thought at the time. I was informed I was on a month-to-month contract and could cancel it without having to pay anything because nothing was owed. Now i remind you that for a long time i was told i could not cancel and i could not freeze the account. So, okay, he dbl checks with GM and comes back with good news, I can cancel. So, I cancelled my membership. I have to feed my family and pay insurance, Tri-care Insurance. Well, here it is 3-5-18, and guess what... Look at the bank account and 3 separate charges have come out for Gold's Gym. Go figure. So, I called Gold's Gym and spoke to the GM. All he could tell me is they submitted the request and that's all it is, a request. If I haven't heard anything back in 48 hrs to call back. I should be given the refund and it should refund automatically. He also said they have a 30 day cancellation policy. Where was that mentioned BEFORE I cancelled it??? Well, now we have no $ for the insurance and not so much food right now. This is so ridiculous. We pd every month and didn't even go to the gym, kept being told I couldn't cancel, then finally I was told I could cancel anytime. I think Gold's should be ashamed of themselves for taking money from a family who wasn't using the facility(ies), and kept being told no about cancelling. Those funds for the last 5 months should ALL be refunded along with what was just taken out. I rate this ZERO stars. My family and I will not do business ever again with Gold's Gym. By the way, the GM was still in his office when i left, making him there longer than the 30 minutes I was told before leaving to speak to him.
So, we signed up being told that my wife and son's membership along with Kid's Club would be waived til October, but my membership would come on the 15th. Well, so not true. Well, Gold's Gym took out $43 and change 3 times on the 15th of Oct and now again today. I'm so not happy with being told one thing and it not being true. Can't stand to be misinformed. Anyway, I would like nothing more than to give this membership up especially since we only went 2x in Sept. It's so not worth the trouble. As for the military price, well, it's even more from what was explained. I think I could find a gym at Tinker with no cost to military. I only signed up because all my son talked about was working out at Gold's Gym. It was for his birthday and I'd feel really guilty to cancel it.
So, today 1Nov2017, I call to find out what to do to freeze or suspend the membership. Apparently having a year membership we can't cancel it. To freeze the membership it's $15 per month. We haven't been in 2 months. This is ridiculous. The point of having a membership is to go. When you don't go enough, it's not worth the price. Then when I asked if there was a customer service number the response I got was, "I don't know." What the heck... This membership will be no more after the year. I'll be looking for a different gym. Thanks for nothing Gold's Gym. I am very disappointed.

Only gym, besides YMCA, that has both sauna and steam room. Honestly only reason I go here, and enjoy it this much. When they were having issues with the steam room almost left, overpriced to not have!! But overall, clean, spacious, hardly ever a wait, for equipment.

I've been going to this gym since it opened. It has changed hands multiple times, but each time, they have tried to "grandfather" me in with previous prices and decent service, so I've stayed with them. I also love that it's got a kids club and pool, so despite the less than stable ownership, I've continued to be a loyal patron. I've had a couple issues with the automatic debits out of my banking account, but it is usually handled easily and painlessly. However, this last time around showed that they really need to learn about loyalty, customer service, and honesty. We received a call that our card had been declined for our automatic bank draft (We had recently been sent new cards from our bank) so we immediately updated the information after we received the call, no big deal. (Or so we thought.) We soon learned they had charged us an extra $20 "late" fee and had failed to update both accounts with the new card information. They were "kind enough" to waive the second $20 "late" fee, but there was "nothing they could do" about the first one because it had "already been charged." This gym is nice, but be wary because they will try to charge you for anything they can. They have also raised prices twice since I started going there. Buyer beware.

So my friend in the military join this Gold gym and they didn't tell him about the military discount, rushed him to signed the contract without telling him about the 1 week trial, then he have order to went away for 5 month after join for 4 days, they promised to freeze the account and after he came back, he got charged for all those months and they refuse to give him back the money. And they lies about the contract cancellation term as well. Would suggest if you are an arm forces member please avoid Gold Gym! They treated him with zero appreciation.

They gave a "month to month, cancel anytime" membership that you can pay extra for. Well, I payed extra for about 6 months and decided I wanted to cancel the next month. Well, they make you pay the next month and then you can cancel. Talked with multiple people there and contacted the corporate office. No help. So I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company multiple times. The. They send me to collections. Sleazy

Why and Why NOT pick THIS Gold's Gym.

Reasons why you will LIKE THIS Gold's Gym.

1) Equipment - The equipment at this Gold's Gym is top of the line. They also have a swimming area that's well kept. You can also say the same about the equipment(weights, machines, treadmills, etc).

2) Environment - You'll definitely be around the more serious gym goer. I mean that in a good way. You want to be around people that are serious about working out. It becomes contagious. It also helps overcome many of the shortcomings of their Customer Service.

3) Locker rooms - They are clean and so are the showers. You're not going to have to worry about them not being well kept because they usually are.

4) Supplements - You'll get a good overall variety of supplements at their store. They usually introduce new types of protein bars that are high quality. The prices are fairly competitive because if you go to Amazon, the prices will be around the same.

Reasons why you will NOT LIKE THIS Gold's Gym.

1) Customer Service - It's terrible. I am not going to say all Gold's gym are the same, but this one in particular is terrible with customer service. Your job is to be friendly to people and accommodate(within reason of course) to a customer's needs and be w-e-l-c-o-m-i-n-g. Step 1) Smile. Step 2) Act like you enjoy working there.
*I've recommended 3 friends to this gym and 2/3 were not satisfied with your Customer Service. This does not encourage me to bring more members.

2) Resolving Customer Complaints - I initially went to the Gold's Gym on NW 23rd Street. So my first impression was overall good. But I think their staff is pretty good with customer service. So my friend was eager to begin a gym membership, so I decided to go to a gym closer to him. Hence the reason why I came to Gold's Gym in Moore. I wasn't impressed with the Customer service. The guy seemed very reluctant about giving a tour to my friend. Eventually, I spoke to management about this issue and Keri Cobb said she would resolve it. It's been a month and it has not been resolved. In fact I am not sure what Keri Cobb was supposed to resolve.

3) Management - See "Resolving Customer Complaints" section.

Overall, I would recommend Gold's Gym to my friends. Just not this one in Moore.

I had left gold's gym and switched to 10Gym a year ago for various reasons. A year later, currently, I was seriously considering switching back despite Gold's being 3x as expensive because the equipment is great and the proximity to my house was another plus. I sign up for a 3 day pass, and a gentleman calls me right away to activate it. He was very friendly, and I let him know that I used to be a member there and was on the fence about switching back. Plus, I hadn't seen the gym since all of the renovations. He said well just come on in for your 3 days and see if you like it! Awesome!

I go in the next morning at my scheduled time and the ladies at the front desk were very friendly. The salesman that I was supposed to meet with (maybe his name was Brandon? Not sure, he had blondeish hair) wasn't there at my scheduled time, so the ladies let me go ahead and work out first and then I could speak to the salesperson after.

When I was done, I spoke to him about pricing and I informed him about speaking to the gentleman the day before on the phone to activate my pass, and he said, "Well, you should have never been allowed passed the front desk because you are a previous member and those are only for new members," as if it was my fault that I was granted the pass in the first place. I told him the gentleman I spoke to was aware of that and he said to come on in, and he said "well you can't use the rest of your 3-day pass".

I'm sorry, but if someone is on the fence trying to decide whether to leave their current gym to join yours, you would think that salesperson would be anything but rude and apathetic. It couldn't have been more apparent that he did my care if I joined that gym or not. I NEVER complain, and I've worked in customer service for 8 years - that salesperson's demeanor today was anything but welcoming.

Needless to say, I will be staying at 10Gym.

First time into a Gold's Gym, but if every one is as expansive as this, then I will never go elsewhere.

It is impossible to cancel. The air force moved me, and I went in person with my orders to cancel my wife's and my membership. They only cancelled one and continued to charge me. After the move I noticed the charges. I called to cancel... again and I told USAA about it as well. A month later I got an email from the gym that a payment did not go through. USAA to the rescue.
I got charged again!! And the managers are ALWAYS in a meeting. I have never spoken to one.
