Stay away! They stopped offering a class at a time I usually go. So I try to cancel that membership and they want to hit me with a extra 80 dollar charge to cancel a membership that they canceled the classes...

This is by far the best Gold's Gym in Oklahoma! You won't get a better experience at any other gym! The staff is amazing, the amenities are great, the instructors are knowledgeable and friendly, and the pool is always clean! Come check it out!

I've been to several of the Gold's Gym's and this one is a smaller gym. It's easy to do quick workouts. For those who like watching movies, swimming and steam rooms, then go to a bigger Gold's. As far as this gym goes, it's clean and easy access from Memorial Rd. If you live within a mile of the gym, you can jog there for cardio and then lift.

I'm at the gym and they should have been open 3 hours ago and we are still waiting outside. This is exactly why I'm changing to Lifetime. The new GM here is terrible. She misses so many of her own shifts so how can you expect anything different from the workers. The amount of complaints regarding the GM Danielle on here lately is staggering and let me tell you they are 100% accurate! #leadfromthefront

Joined for the 24hr access since I work nightshift. Then they changed the hours to be closed from 12am-4am. The only reason why I joined was to go to the gym at night after work during those hours! Now Im stuck in a contract and looking to join a real 24hr gym!

With how much I pay a month yall definitely could afford more squat racks and Smith machines. Too many entitled ass people decide to spend their whole 2 hr long workout loitering around the machines and not letting anyone else use them because they're "still using it" lol

Good facility, but management allows patrons to get away with a lot. For example, in the steam room or sauna it's common to see people wearing street clothes with thier gym shoes on. It goes against common knowledge and standard hygiene norms, but management doesn't care. Also, people often bring Bluetooth speakers and blast thier own music over the common area speakers, but management allows this obnoxious behavior to continue. I've also seen people take thier shirts off after leaving the basketball court on thier way to the locker room. It's gross.

I got an invitation for three days through one of my friends and one of my family member who are already members there for long time. I used the invitation yesterday and today usually I come at 9 pm due to tight work schedule. I was surprised today at the front desk when one of the staff her name Ashley told me you aren't allowed to enter the gym after 9 pm rudely front of my friend and two other members were on the front desk. I was shocked from the way she is talking to me !!! when I asked her to help me to get me enrolled since I was ready to sign one year contract with them but unfortunately due to lack of experience and bad customer service the answer that came from this unprofessional employee was ( you can leave my gym now and come to morrow morning before 9 pm). I'm really surprised from the way she was talking to me front of the other people. however such bad customer service and disrespect to potential member I and 4 of my family member decided to cancel the membership at this facility and find somewhere els has better customer service at least.

Worst customer service! Very rude and unprofessional! I regret having a contract with them! Their general manager Daniel is such unprofessional and rude person and the operation manager Ashley hung up on me twice, first time was 7 months ago and the other time just today!! They dont have any proper customer service or communication skills! I Don't know how such a big company hire people like them! I wish you can listen to the recorded calls and see how they treat the customers! I'm not the first one who complaines or have issues with this branch!
I have paid 12 months as I was a member since Feb 2016 and I just showed up for only 3 months, I never liked going there!!!! They never care about the customers they only care about getting you into a contract to make sure you pay no matter what!

Gold's Gym is one of the largest chains of exercise gyms in the country. They have a great selection of machines and weights and activities to help get you and keep you in shape. They have a staff that is very well trained and capable of helping you figure out exactly the right regimen that you need in order to get you in the best shape possible.

The General Manager was completely unprofessional when trying to pay my son's bill. She said she did not give a damn if I or my son quit being members. She then told me I had to get out when I said, "You will if you get fired." I am almost 60 years old and she even had a very largevfemale employee get inches away from me trying to physically intimidate me. I asked the police be called as I have been a member when it was 24 hour Fitness, before it was ever Gold's and I was there to pay for my son's membership. What kind of manager tells long standing members they don't give a damn if the members quit??? What kind of place trys to physically intimidate a senior who is trying to pay them???? I have never had a more rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional encounter in.my life than I did 1st the Quail Springs Gold's Gym....ever.

This place inspires me to workout harder. I want to be in a place that automatically makes me work harder and this Gold's does it for me. Just avoid going there after work because sometimes it can get a little too crowded. between 5:30 and 7:30pm

This is the best gym in okc and I have checked around.. This one has a variety of equipment for everyone and it is not broke down all newer equipment. I like one work out while my boyfriend likes another and it accommodates both of our workout programs. plus indoor pool, steam room and a sauna. I love this place!

My husband and I are members at the Golds Gym on Danforth in Edmond Oklahoma and have been for many years. I am 6 months pregnant and wanted to maybe use the Golds on Memorial because my friends use the gym. We went in to possibly upgrade on 09/20/2017 at around 8:00 PM from a one club membership to an all club when Simon Roth sat my husband and I down to try and pressure us to cancel our current memberships and start all over with a processing fee and one more initiation fee as well. He said he could wave the initiation fee though if we signed up but we had to pay for the first and last month again. We told him it sounded a little shady so he told us if we didn't sign up again we could get out of his club or pay a day fee?? We are already members and I would have liked to try the club out and then upgraded to an all club membership. Instead I left the club in tears because of how he treated us. He was very aggressive and rude with me and my husband and made me feel scared to even see him again. He was trying to intimidate us and used a very loud and direct stern voice while he was grinding his teeth talking to us. I felt threatened to the point we could have been attacked by this man if we didn't leave. This man is by far the worst person I have ever talked to that represents a business. I know over 50 people that take classes and use that gym and many others across the city. I was invited by my girlfriend to come and check it out and this very unprofessional maniac kicked us out. Even the front desk guy was confused when he was asked by Simon to charge us a day fee or have us leave. When we came in we told the front desk person we are here to use the gym and upgrade. I hope you know this type of treatment is a cancer that can and will destroy your reputation in our community. Word of mouth spreads very fast in Edmond and Simon Roth seems like a person who only cares about money and getting a sale. He looked at us like his paycheck that he needs very badly and he seemed very desperate. We are defiantly not going back to that gym and are considering changing gyms all together after the way we have been treated.

I've been to a bunch of Gold's locations in the metro, and I like this one the best. It can be really crowded right after work around 4 - 6 pm, which is a downside. But I find that overall, this is a really good gym. I use the showers and lockers daily to get ready for my day at work, and find they are always clean. Equipment is normally pretty tidy, although people like to shuffle the weights around and not put them back. Like many gyms, I wish there were more classes available outside the normal 8 - 5 hours, but oh well. The staff is polite, but I don't normally talk to them. One time, I forgot my towel and didn't realize until I got out of the pool. They kindly lent me one for free. I've had no issues with my contract because I can read, so I know what I signed up for.

Night team is cool, and take old guy in the locker room has gone home.

When I signed up for the gym. I told the assistant that I was going to school in another city in one month. And he told me that I could freeze my account instead of cancelling it to save the enrollment fee when I'm back. But today when I called the gym, the person who answered the phone told me usually they don't do membership freeze unless someone have a medical condition. And also she said there will be a 25dollarpermonth freeze fee, which have not be mentioned at all when I signed up for it. Also there is nowhere in the contract says that there is a freeze fee. Then I tried to find some policies about it on the website. So I asked the women on the phone where could I find them. She questioned me why did I want to do it. I said: how could I make sure it's true. Then she said: because I said so. But she was ride and kinda aggressive during the whole time so not a big deal.
If what she said was not the same as what other assistant had told me in the gym, how could I know which one to trust? Is it like they will tell you something when you sign up and will tell you something else when you want to quit? Just wonder.

I am leaving this gym one unhappy customer. To keep this post short, I'll just say I feel I got swindled by the contract and the "fine print" when it came time to cancel my membership. While the finance person maintained a pleasant demeanor after hearing my unpleasant objection, she didn't think it necessary to ensure I left a happy customer by refunding the amount I felt was reasonably owed to me.

Gold's Gym, Lifetime Fitness is coming next door. There's just too much competition in your area to be strong-arming your customers.

To anyone considering signing up with Gold's, make sure you read EVERY. SINGLE. WORD. of EVERY. SINGLE. PAGE and make sure you KNOW what you're getting into. Make them PRINT the paperwork (otherwise, it's conveniently all done on a computer screen). And when you are ready to cancel your membership, do it AT LEAST 60 days in advance. And then keep an eye on your credit card statements.
