My choice of gyms to get a good workout. Friendly staff, a lot of equipment, and usually not too busy.
Not nice people to work with. Cancelled my membership with 32 days in advance when they only require 30. Called the office and spoke to someone and they said I would receive a call from the manager and still never have. Yesterday morning just got a letter in the mail saying they sent my account to collections...? Horrible customer service. On top of bathrooms always trashed and machines always broken, stay away!
Wish they would fix their 3D machine and get some bands but amazing staff!
As someone from NYC this gym is huge. Loved it. Great to have a steam room only thing was the seats looked pretty gross. But great gym overall.
I like this location. Very spacious. They just added two new power racks in the free weight area and it really made a huge difference.
My friend invited me to play racquetball during the week they had a promotion in which you could bring your friend for free early this year. When I got there, the guys in the first desk made me sign in (which is fine) and I was sent to talk to the guy that signs new contracts. Apparently he was unaware of the promotion going on, and said I could only get in if I got a contract with them, which was super embarrassing because I didn't want to commit at that point. So after a while trying to convince me, he said I had to pay the day which was about 16 dollars, and since I didn't wanna walk out I paid to be able to play during the "bring a friend for free" week. The manager called me later saying they were sorry and that they would refund me but I never got that money back. Other than that, during my expensive stay, they were staring at me and talking about the whole situation. The guys in the front desk didn't understand why the other guy made me pay, it was weird, expensive and I felt coerced. Never coming back.
Great staff, always a pleasure to work with. I go to Gold's with my power lifter boi. We love it. All we need. If we want some more special equipment we just go to another Gold's usually 15 minutes or less away and use pools or racket ball rooms. Gold's is literally the best gym you could ever ask for. They have cool gimmicks and child care too. I am a big fan. Also, not too many CrossFit wierdos

Great manager in Tony! only problem with gym is they only show CNN. Hope they will even out the political tvs instead of shoving the ever negative CNN on us

Best gold's gym, very nice and clean facility, staff are very nice, personal trainer are professional, updating 7/6/2018 it looks I'm not the only one who got his stuff stolen from his car in the parking lot right in front of the gym main door, you guys needs to have a surveillance cameras outside the building so this need to stop.

Gold's gym I like bc I like the staff and you can go to any gold's in Oklahoma City and Edmond. They all offer a little bit of different stuff the one on memorial they have basketball court and multiple punching bags. They also have a swimming pool. I like gold's also bc of the yoga classes. If you think that yoga is for whimps think again. I'm 47 and being I run marathons and lift weights. Yoga has made the biggest difference in my life bc stretching and doing yoga poses if you stick with it your health will improve tons. Your life will improve. I don't have the injuries or the tightness and my body is balanced. Anyway I'm saying at Gold's you really can improve if you take there classes and listen and learn it's worth the money!
The only nicer Golds in the metro is in Yukon. This place is open, friendly and full of options. Wish the kids area had natural light if I could change anything.

Update: After years loyal attendance, when I tried to pay my annual contract amount, the NEW general manager informed me that I would need to pay $100 more this year. I told her that I had a lifetime contract for a specific amount per year through aspen that they assumed when they bought out their contracts, she just went through a list of talking points. When I asked for the contact information to speak with the regional mamager above her, she got offeneded and then became disrespectful. She refused to provide me with the contact information I requested and said I would have to deal with her. Thank goodness I have a second membership at 10gym, they have much better hours and have recently updated the entire gym and it far exceeds the equipment offered at Gold's NW Expressway. I had fully planned to keep both memberships because I have built a good report with the staff and other patrons at this location of Gold's Gym, but due to the actions of the new general manager I decided to walk away and just keep my 10Gym membership. In an attempt to extort more money from me, she essentially lost a long time paying customer. It saddens me to have to leave all of the great peiple I came to know but rest assured i plan to convert as many people as possible from Golds to 10gym. 1. Because 10Gym has better hours. 2. Better management staff and 3. Nicer equipmemt since the redesign.
If you are thinking about a gym membership, I highly encourage you to stop in at 10 Gym on NW Expressway before signing any contracts. The staff at both places are amazing, but there is a clear difference in company imtegrity. Then do what's best for you after having seen both places.

Unbelievable , got a 3 day pass to check this place out , got up at 4:30 am to be there only to be told I couldn't come in. What a joke, wouldn't even let me workout, all because it wasn't my first time EVER in a Golds. Gees my mom taught at one 30 years ago, just because I had been in one means I can't try it out. They told me I had to pay to enter. Won't ever get a membership here , nor recommend this place now.

The service is great and staff is very friendly. The bathroom and steam bath have much room for improvement.
Heree my reson for this location a guy named mr mohummed a sales guys not only tried to trick my fiance but today 01-21-2018 at 3:15 pm this guy was at the front and his frist repsones was are u still mad this has indicated he is trying to start drama with me ill be revoking my membership real soon due to this iragont a$$
Great gym. Wish all of them would have all of the same equipment. Some golds are better for different muscle groups
Love the gym but there is a guy that keeps grunting really loudly when he works out. There is a list of rules for the gym and number 2 is to not make excessive noise while lifting. Staff don't keep me grunt in check! It must be off putting for others too.
I have been going here since they bought out aspen, not exactly happy that they have increased my annual contract almost every year. The front seat staff have always been polite and respectful, Tony in the morning greets me by name and always has a good attitude, the evening staff are just nice people. I have never really had to deal with anyone else except once a year to pay my membership. It is smaller, but as long as it's not peak times it's good, forget working out during peak hours, it's insane. It gets a three because the locker rooms are small, equipment isn't generally fixed in what I think is a timely manner but things don't seem to break all that often. Overall it's a good gym, don't know if I would be a member at the new member prices, or if they attempt to raise my annual contract any more, but it's perfect for me with the price that I currently pay.
This gym typically works well for my family. We enjoy the cardio cinema and the machines are usually always working. The complaint I have is that the janitorial staff seems to always be cleaning at peak hours. I'm talking about mopping the floors. It's hard to use the locker room when you have to step over the girl mopping and try not to slip. It's also awkward because she is unfriendly. She looks like she hates her job and the members while she is mopping the main floor when it's packed!
Great people and nice and clean facility but there's no cameras. That means no security for your personal items. I would like to see cameras in the gym. It'll make a difference.
This place is awesome, nice employees, relaxed atmosphere...lots of equipment to choose from and the stair climbers are new and even have fans on them.
