Planet Fitness has been a great gym! There is such a variety of equipment to fit every workout need! The staff at my home PF is always friendly and helpful! I travel often and am thankful with my BlackCard membership, I can still work out while on the road!
We have been very happy with the NW Expressway location. The facility is clean and well maintained and the staff is helpful and friendly.
Great gym. No muss no fuss. The environment promotes a non judgemental attitude and 99% of the equipment is in good working order.
This gym is very nice, clean, and equipment is in great condition. The tanning and massage equipment is also very nice. The bathrooms are very nice and the layout is kind of cool to be honest. I really enjoy this gym. The ONLY reason there is not 5 stars is because EVERY shower stall is missing enough length on either side of the curtain to give you complete privacy. Literally there is about a 1 to 1.5 foot gap and you can see straight into the showers... kind of awkward, I've told the staff and they said they are getting new curtains this week, that was 2 weeks ago...
3 months and still no hot water. Supposedly being fixed with the remodel. Hopefully this will be resolved
Worst planet fitness I have ever been to. I love planet fitness but this location is Terrible. The bulbs in the tanning bed I used were bad. Staff was terrible and the place was dirty. Terrible location!

LOVE Planet Fitness. Black membership allows me to find gyms when I travel. Always clean. Never so crowded I have to wait long for machines and weights. My biggest complaint: Although they have my email and phone info on file they will not contact you when your cc/debit card expires causing unnecessary late fees more expensive than the actual monthly membership. VERY common complaint and easy to fix but they refuse. I foresee a class action lawsuit at some point. Thier profit model should not depend on penalties and late fees
simular to bank checking accounts. RIDICULUS...

Lots of machines. Nice bathrooms to clean up and blow dryer to use. Very spacious.

District manager is unwilling to fix the water fountain at this gym. Members must either suck water out of a sink or hope they bring enough water so they don't pass out.
I'm changing my review. I used to love Planet Fitness but now they are deplorable. They're pricing is so deceptive. Their website says they have a $10/mo plan with no contract or annual fee but this is a lie because none of the ones in Oklahoma have this option. Plus the pricing for each branch is a complete lie because they give a monthly price but then hide an annual fee in the fine print buried at the bottom which raises the true monthly price by $5 /mo. Plus showers are always broken down and dirty. Stay away.

Love love PF but they can do better with equipment.
All I need is a treadmill and a hot shower. Sadly, the showers have been cold for the last two weeks with no warning or explanation.
This place is rediculous. They're "no critic" policy is a lie. They were judging me and kicked me and my friend out because we were actually pushing ourselves to get better. The atmosphere there is low energy and the purple everywhere hurt my eyes.

good starting point for changing your overall routine of physical activity and exercise.
Started my membership at this location through my employer's Prime Healthy Lifestyle Program and the first impression has been positive.
The space is large with tons of treadmills, ellipticals, stair climbers, and stationary bikes if you don't feel like doing weights. Appreciate the TV and a variety of programs one can choose from while exercising on these machines.
Besides the variety of machine and free weights, there are also separate areas for circuit training if you want a full-body workout. The tall ceiling and "mood" lighting provided an airy and contemporary environment.
The space and equipment are kept fairly clean and as a marketer, I have always appreciate a company with strong branding elements. For the case of PF, it is their unique "no judgement" positioning and corporate purple-yellow color scheme.
The staff who helped me get setup was not as excited and don't seem happy to work there. An introduction to the gym and programs (besides asking me about joining the Black Card club) would have ben helpful. He may just be having a rough day.
The function of Life Fitness equipments to record workout history (via personal account & PIN) is a great idea. Hopefully Trey-Von, the club manager can resolve the internet connectivity with these machines.
Great place to workout, this is one of the best gyms I have used.

You have the basic fitness elements covered at a reasonable price.
Ridiculous. Sign you up for a penny and charge you out the *ss to cancel. Be careful with this company. They won't tell you everything and when you come in to cancel (exactly when they told me to), they'll hit you with one more charge. Rip off. Plus, I even went to the gym to cancel and spoke with someone at the front desk that told me I was in the clear. Dishonest and deceitful.
good environment and easy to find a machines to work out.
most of all, very friendly staffs when I needed.
I had a membership for a year there. I loved it. My membership ended in October and I called to make sure there wasn't anything I needed to do so they wouldn't keep charging me. The person I spoke with said Nope. Your membership is up so you shouldn't get money taken out. Well I just looked today and they took money out of my account in November. I called and spoke with a very nice lady about the issue. She told me I had to go into the gym to cancel my membership. I wish someone would have told me that in October. I am extremely upset about this. Just make sure when you get a membership to ask the right questions when your membership ends. I thought I did the right thing by calling but I guess not. Maybe y'all should have meetings with your employees about this issue.
It's a good gym but its not the best. There are no barbell benches or racks for squats, deadlifts, and bench press. There are four smith machines though. Equipment is sometimes broken down. Maintenance, staff, and crowdesness are all pretty good overall. No paper towels in the bathrooms, they were removed. There are better gyms for serious athletes...
Awesome
Always clean and no broken equipment sitting on the floor
Friendly staff an no Hans & Franz BS to deal with
Excellent place to work out. Clean, friendly and excellent equipment.
Poor customer service. I went in to cancel my membership and then got told that I had to pay a additional $30 just to cancel my membership (that I was not ever notified about) due to late fees, which is wrong because I have proof of payment to them every month. When I asked the young lady at the front desk a few questions to get more of a understanding she said she didn't know and could not do anything help me. Then said she could take $10 off but won't take the money off unless I stop being "rude". Incredibly unprofessional and was only making me more frustrated when I was just trying to understand "why?" But never got a answer. Ended up paying just to end a membership I have already been paying for. The staff definitely needs some training because the gym is not bad by any means.
I work out here from time to time. It's a pretty basic gym but generally seems clean and has everything I need for a basic workout. I also have a Y membership. I prefer the Y, but PF is convenient and has better hours.
