I joined this gym after the new year when the 10 dollar gyms got crazy busy. No regrets. Super friendly staff never have to wait on equipment and very clean facilities. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I was a member for a year. Great facility, always clean. People are chill there. When I cancelled it was right before the COVID-19 shut down and when the shut down was lifted my account got drafted. I contacted them and they are sending me a refund and have been quick to get back with me. I cancelled because of work and schedule changes but I would join again in the future if my schedule allows it

I started at Steel Fitness when I was a freshman in college, 5 years ago, it's a great gym. The staff is friendly, they have great group classes, and the facility is always CLEAN! I would really suggest making this your forever gym.

Amazing facility!! Plenty of space and a large variety of equipment. Everything is kept very clean, especially the locker rooms. Everyone is so enthusiastic and friendly. The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful! :)

In response to my customer experience the owner has decided to post a very personal and PRIVATE conversation I had with his staff. YES I am struggling financially. YES I needed to cancel this membership as a result of that!!! Shame on you!!! Also you drafted a payment from my overdrawn account this morning!! You are a piece of work!!!

This gym is the cleanest I have ever seen in Norman! The staff really keeps up with the locker rooms and restrooms and I feel so comfortable using their showers and restrooms. All the equipment is clean and in great shape! I'd recommend this gym to everyone!

This gym is cheap for what you get for sure! High quality equipment that is kept clean and in good repair. Gym personnel are kind and helpful. A very nice gym that was never over-crowded when I went.

The only down side I had with this place and being able to get a worker to the front for assistance. They have a button to be pushed to call someone up front. Most the time the button doesn't work and you're standing there until one of the professional trainers end up finding the employee for you. They now have a sign that lets you know to push hard on the button, for some time. I am sure one day they will get this fixed. They provide standing and laying tanning beds and separate saunas for men and woman. The gym also has plenty of room and equipment to meet everyone's needs. Overall, great place to work out and tan! The music they play is pretty good, too.

Great facility, tons of equipment, plenty of space. They have plenty of equipment to cater to the average weekend warrior - safety squat bars and buffalo bars, bumper plates, Hammer Strength machines, etc. Most of the machines look new and are kept in good shape. The free weights are definitely NOT new, but I like that.
One thing I would say is that it could stand to be just a little brighter inside, especially in the free weight area. Not worth removing a star though.

The price is not worth the gym, they hold prison standards at this gym. Not only do all the warning signs of "dont do this" "dont do that" "or else" make the experience unpleasant but so do the stuff, robots. You are constantly being watched at this gym for every little mess up they can get you on.

I literally love this gym, and it's a shame that I had to find it my last semester of senior year at OU. Students: if you need a gym that's not the Huff, I recommend this gym. They have EVERYTHING you could need to work out, and they give students a really nice deal per semester. I never felt judged, the staff is super nice, and the members are inclusive. I wish that I could live in Norman next year, solely for this gym. I love it that much!!

Very good facility, they are always cleaning floors and equipment. Wonderful personal trainers. Equipment is always top notch and working. Classes are well taught.

Best gym in Norman. Been going here for over 2 years. Theatre room, clean machines, deadlift platforms, weightlifting belts, power racks, great locker rooms, free tanning, and friendly staff.

My family has been going to this gym for around 8 years now. Absolutely amazing. They are always adding the top of the line equipment and always have new stuff for the kids too!!

Absolutely love this gym, great equipment, friendly regulars, great staff. I recommend it to anyone looking for a stood gym that's serious about weight lifting.

I am so confused by the people who gave a one star. The staff is extremely friendly and everything is always cleaned. I moved to Norman so I joined Steel and I feel very welcomed and comfortable at this gym. There are a lot of people their that take their fitness serious but I think that's a great gym quality because it helps you want to take your fitness serious. Overall very pleased with Steel!

This is the best-equipped gym I've seen in Norman. Two power racks, two deadlift stations, dumbbells in 2.5 pound increments, plenty of heavy bags and other cardio equipment. My only complaint is that the music is too loud. Makes it impractical to listen to your own tunes - even good headphones won't block out the gym's music. Staff is friendly, though, and the equipment selection is hard to beat.
