After trying a few yoga studios in the Norman area, I decided to stick with YogaLife to establish a regular practice. It's an astonishingly comfortable and approachable environment--everyone is totally devoid of pretentiousness and there are classes that easily cater to both the absolute beginner and those who are ready to move deeply into challenging poses. The instructors here have a genuine talent for closely observing students' needs and capabilities, and are remarkably able to adjust classes, making them more challenging, gentler, or even simply changing the focus of the sequence, depending on the mood of the day. It's also noteworthy that there's a real diversity in the clientele here, who represent different ages, genders, and backgrounds, perhaps because the instructors have so well stricken a balance between being too banal and being too "far out." They've got great senses of humor, too! Really, I can't recommend YogaLife too strongly--give it a shot.
