Love my gym and the amazing staff!
I have been going here for about 4 months now. This location is always clean, equipment is always maintained and in peak conditions. Staff is always very friendly and I'm greeted with a smile every time I come in.
Large facility and always clean. It gets crowded at peak hours but the members are courteous. Staff is friendly and helpful.
I love it so much! Awesome friendly staff and very clean!
Love the people and the gym. Have had a gym memberships at multiple gyms over 30 years and this is the best so far, no lie.
Everything is generally clean and rarely is equipment out of order. Staff is usually very knowledgeable and helpful. They make positive suggestions to help you achieve your goals. Always a smile. I don't have to dread going here. Truly judgement free. Black card membership is the best way to go.
I went to the Broken Arrow location last night, I went to use the restroom and the first 2 stalls where completely out of toilet tissue. When I went tell the young man at the front desk, I notice there where onlly man working , so I offered to replace the tissue. But, it make me wonder if the tissue isn't getting replaced is the restroom being cleaned regular? Also Hydro massager bed 9 isn't working.
Attempted to switch locations as I recently moved. My husband has a black card membership, and after telling him he was welcome to work out while the transfer for my membership processed, I was told I was not able to look around to compare to our previous location (91st street, which I highly recommend). I would have been his guest today. Will not be going back to this location. Side note: while this conversation was taking place, another employee was talking loudly on his cell phone with a vacuum swung over his shoulders in the lobby

I would only visit this gym again if i absolutely had too. What happened to a dress code? Girls wearing shorts so short their butts are hanging out, also girls wearing crop tops showing off their bellies. No thank you, makes me feel uncomfortable. I'll stick to my Claremore PF where people abide to the dress code

Good for the price. Clean and not very crowded. Missing a few pieces of equipment if you're a hardcore gym rat. Gets the job done for most people. Very friendly staff.

Pretty awesome, great staff, nice clean tanning beds... pretty much all you can ask for.
Im being double charged for billing currently and Im going through hell calling people trying to get this resolved. This is the worst customer service i have ever experienced. Been going to planet fitness for years on and off and its safe to say, Im done this time. So many other gyms out there and Im telling you its worth paying more for a gym that runs itself instead of one that uses different companies to run it. Im having billing issues, Im having customer service issues, and Im having issues resolving anything. I had to call the company that does their billing myself even though they said they would handle it. I called and finally got it taken care of but now its on the gym to reimburse me for all the money they have been double charging me for. They cant even get my home gym right. If you read this, dont waste your time.
[Day one member who recently canceled due to an associate named Albert Hall]
I used both the South Tulsa and Broken Arrow locations late nights early morning hours for over 7 years. As for the gym amenities I would rate it extremely high for value both locations have essentially everything an average person would need. Unfortunately as the equipment and layout has got better at the BA location the staff doesn't seem to be of the same caliber as it once was.
First when I go to the gym I go with the intention of getting in and getting out I'm not there to fart around. So maybe these issues won't bug you but I can guarantee you'll encounter them nonetheless. When you arrive at the times mentioned you are going to walk in to one of two situations the first being the associates having a pow wow with a friend(s) for whom you've just interrupted and you get the sense that now you're an inconvenience which is irritating but tolerable.
Or two which is the more likely scenario and the most irritating no ones there and/or around and you'll be sitting there for who knows how long. When this issue first started to arise it was a bit more sporadic which I didn't mind. But it has turned into an everytime ordeal. It had got to the point where I made a rule if I was waiting for more then a couple of minutes then I felt check ins weren't important to the gym so why are they important to me? So I would go about my business. Neither of these issues started to annoy me until all of a sudden it was important to them mid workout and now I've got to stop what I'm doing and cater to them.
It had got to the point where the gym was no longer a convenience to one of its members but had started to feel like I should be a conveniece to the gym. Which led into an altercation on the morning of 5/17/2018 with the before mentioned employee. My girlfriend and I had moved into the stretching and aerobics room to finish up our workout.
The machine in this room is transformable to one's needs there is no designated spots for any particular item. When we arrived the battle rope was tied to the machine which makes the workout undoable because it makes the rope move in irregular fashions on top of making it almost impossible to equalize each side both of which are important for the exercise. The only way to work it is to coil it around the beam to get even length in both ends of the rope and adjust length for intensity. I had moved it from the northwest corner to the southwest because it would fit into our super sets better.
Shortly after moving the rope and after my girlfriends first set this individual proceeds to exit the toiletry closet and point to his ears directing these actions towards her so she would remove her headphones. She didn't so he approached me and asked if I would move the rope back to its previous location. He failed to realize what I was talking about when I addressed his concerns and got arguemenative towards me.
So just to soothe his concerns I ended up agreeing just to end the arguement at which point he went back into the closet. But came back out once he had heard me discussing with her what it was over. However, with a more combative tone and I was already over the situation and ended up becoming combative as well at which point he told me to leave and I replied not until my membership has been cancelled.
During the entire engagement he wasn't listening and kept putting words in my mouth. And although he presented it as a question the question itself essentially means hey you moved the rope from its spot move it back. When in fact there is no designated spot. It was purely his opinion on where it was suppose to go. And when I need advice on where things go I don't think I'll ask the guy whose vehicle can never seem to find a proper parking place.
I bet the gyms great for day goers but steer clear if you're a nightowl. Part of the planets appeal was no lunks but how do you avoid them if they work there?
Good gym. Way to busy seems smaller than other plant fitness gyms. Could be the layout not sure. But way way to busy. Hard to get a machine.
So I don't really care for these types of gyms however, I have a black membership so I can go with my husband sometimes and tan. Overall it is clean and has plenty of equipment. I realize that members are responsible for cleaning the beds but there should be some accountability on the part of the gym. Today I went in to tan and the bed was disgusting. There was crust the part you lay on... So I cleaned it REALLY well, your welcome planet fitness. Afterwards, the papertowels ran out, so I had to steal some from another room, cleaned it again, for the next person, and went up to the desk to tell the guy "working ". I say that because he was the only one helping people even though they were both standing there talking to each other when I first arrived and finished tanning. He told me that they do clean the beds when they have time... I guess socializing is more important. Fyi...there are skin conditions that are contagious via sweat and it's gross that the beds aren't being cleaned consistently.

There are some distinctly missing pieces of equipment, but on the whole you have everything you need to get fit. Equipment is very clean and everything is very well maintained. They have bathrooms, lockers (BYOL), and showers.
This is a great gym!!! I do wish they had a pool or even classes like Zumba but it still gets 5 stars.
Was like most other gyms, my take is if you've been to one you've pretty much been to all. Same machines, classes ran by "fitness gurus". Many are "self-starter" workouts. I pretty much have the wherewithal to separate the hype from the "business as usual" fitness facilities. Some classes are rudimentary, same self promotion, motivations, all are trying to get you to purchase "fitness packages" and pay your monthly dues. I do like the "hotel keycard" entry system. One thing about that method is IF you don't pay your bill in a timely manner, your key won't work the next time you try to access entry, it won't let you just sashay in there. My g.f. found out that endeavor was futile until she turned in her fee and brought the old keycard back, to which I say, "Good for YOU, P. F., GOOD FOR YOU!
I have been a longtime member, (over 3 years). However, the recent changes in staff have been less than positive. I attempted to bring another family member with me, (I have a Black card membership), and was given a hard time since she was my 13 year old daughter. I was even willing to sign a waiver but they still refused. what makes this even more disheartening is that I know of another member who is allowed to bring their spouse and teenage daughter on a regular basis. Upper management has been informed of this situation. I have since cancelled my membership!

Overall my experience at the Broken Arrow Planet Fitness location is always good. It's usually never crowded and very spacious and lots of equipment to choose from so anybody can get a full workout without having to wait on a piece of equipment. Another good thing is they keep the temperature on the cool side which I absolutely love. The only drawback I have on this location is they need to change the music venue which has been exactly the same for the last couple of years but other than that I always enjoy coming to this location

I always love the easy atmosphere. Front desk staff is always ready to help! They always make me feel welcomed.
I have been going to this gym with my friend for a few months now. We really like the new equipment and for the most part the staff is friendly. We typically go during the night hours, and the guy that works over night on the weekdays has been interfering with my work out trying to correct me? Look. I appreciate the help, and everything, but I feel like he's not following the gyms motto. We have chosen to go to a different gym. Hopefully, this gets corrected.
These folks have been through alot of changes. Staff is always friendly and gym is clean. Hopefully I don't have a bad experience if I ever have to cancel my membership. Told the staff I was going through a divorce and they worked with me. I appreciate that. No complaints here.
Great location for me coming from Coweta right off the highway. The gym is always clean and has good equipment options, but the employees are not very friendly. Like they don't even address you when you walk in or leave. And they told one women her tank top wasn't allowed that it was too revealing(because she had curves) while another woman with a similar top(no curves)was told nothing.
We've been going to this gym for about a month now. We typically go 3-4 times a week for an hour. I signed up for a black membership, and I take my friend as my guest each time we go.
The gym has plenty of bikes, treadmills and equipment. It is pretty busy between 5-7 p.m. on weekdays, but I've always managed to find a bike or treadmill. I love the strength training equipment. There are a lot of options to choose from, and it gives me flexibility.
The women's shower and bathroom area is nice and clean. I took a shower there recently and the shower stall wasn't scary at all. The hydro-massage table and massage chairs are a great way to finish up my trip after my workout is done. I'll be glad when the renovations are done and they have more tables!
I like that it really is a judgment-free zone. When I'm not sure how to use a certain piece of equipment, other gym members have helped me out and didn't make me feel inferior.
I wasn't in shape when I started going to Planet Fitness, and I still have a long way to go before I get to where I want to be. Planet Fitness has great equipment, staff, and perks. I love the Hydro Massage tables. I went from eating junkfood and sitting on the couch, to spending my free time at Planet Fitness getting in shape, and working towards a healthier me. Thanks Planet Fitness!
So far, so good! Gym is super clean and has plenty of equipment. Staff is always friendly and there's a personal trainer included in the membership. I'm also able to bring someone with me and that's included in my membership. I've had memberships at 10 Gym and Golds, so far I've felt much more comfortable at Planet Fitness.

I go here a lot. The new staff is very friendly and courteous. It does get busy after 5 during the week but still plenty of new workout equipment available.
