Leadership needs to be more accountable.
Supervisors, namely Jose over at the Hope Valley location need to be more accountable for the preparation of the group leaders by providing them with the information they need to succeed. The group leaders should be held accountable when necessary but they should not be used as scape goats. If a camper has a rep for running away that should be relayed to the group leader up front. Group leaders to camper ratios should be maintained because the protocol is in place for a reason. Proper barriers should be in place for the play areas to help supervise the campers. When those things are not done and management points the finger at the group leaders that is just plain wrong. Cutting corners can't be allowed by camp coordinators and so forth up the ladder. Any child known for running away should be in a group with 2 counselors and that info should be relayed to the group leaders of that particular group. Further more if the behavior continues that camper should be suspended because they are taking away from the experience and safety of the group.
Horrible and lazy. And they lie about many things like when they are opened and closed
I like to go to the pool which is close to my house so I can walk there. I used to go to the child care area with my sister when we were younger too.
The gym is a little small but they do a good job with the space they have. They just got fancy new treadmills. The best thing we like is the child care. My son always has a great time there and they do a good job keeping him occupied while we're working out.
Tennis is not organized. The desk never knows if there is a clinic, and their calendar gives wrong info.

Great Atmosphere, Great staff, Love the space of the fitness area. Peaceful experience.
Small, local and just enough for me. Of course as a member of the YMCA I can go to any branch but this one is perfect for my 5:30 am workouts. The pool is an awesome peek in the summer too. GREAT PLACE
