Before my first aerials class at TCA, I introduced myself to the other people waiting to warm up. Each one was supportive, welcoming, and *literally* cheered me on during class as I stood on a trapeze for the first time. Months later, TCA has become one of the most important places in my life, and those same people still cheer for me every time I get on an apparatus. The gym's instructors are amazing -- Cirque resumes and all. I progress in my skills every single week because of their instruction. Safety is emphasized, and the gym is well-equipped. But the best thing about TCA, by far, is the community. Everyone is welcome. Everyone is cheered for. We come to play, to delight in the fun of circus, to work our bodies to the point of utter exhaustion and laugh together as we do it. It's the most intense exercise I've done, maybe ever, and I couldn't be happier about it.
