I was very excited about my first class here however due to unforeseen circumstances at a very busy shift at work, I was 6 minutes late. I called ahead to let them know I was going to be late and my friend informed them I was going to be late as well. When I arrived, I was informed that their policy apparently is no more than 5 min otherwise you are kicked out for "safety concerns and disrupting the class". I apologized profusely for being late when I arrived however however was told that I couldn't enter (mind you this was at 5:36 instead of within the time limit of 5:35). I do recognize that this was an unfortunate event however I did take responsibility to call ahead so I felt it was unbelievable rude to a customer to be so stringent and not understanding of circumstances. Furthermore, the question of how it was any more disruptive or less safe at 5:36 as opposed to 5:35 was not properly explained and while I waited for my friend to get out, I saw multiple people leaving the class early which also seems very hypocritical in that this action can also be seen as disruptive. Being new to Rochester and excited about having a new spinning studio, this I will say was a very poor introduction and I will never recommend this studio to anyone in the city. I would heavily consider elsewhere to others before I sign up for a class at a business like this that clearly does not value nor empathize with their customers.
