This gym is nasty no one cleans there.you get what what you pay for . Not RECOMMEND for kids .go at your own risk. They dont work hard to keep anything clean I've been going for 7yrs there and nothing really changed .you rarely see staff members clean the gym. If anyone who is a gym member try looking up the ceiling vents it cover with balls of dust bunnies and the fire alarm.and the gym equipments body hair from A toZ filthy an gross.
While originally we went to this location to do classes and work out they removed any classes that used weights to price gate behind the world gym athletics program that is more 1 on 1 than class related. My wife and I used to enjoy this gym more and overall I would have rated this gym a 4/5 previously with those classes but overall a 3/5 now due to price for the value. Cheapest gym around for sure but you won't get as much as you could from it. Only spin classes and zumba seem to be left.
great place to work out and if you want they allow you to bring your own equipment like a trap bar for instance
07/27/2019 Sonya, your weekend staff is incredible, this is our first time using the gym, I had her help me a couple days prior with explaining the different membership packages. Which I obtained a membership for me and my husband. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. It's customer service like hers that will definitely keep my business, I will also recommend the gym to everyone I know. Great staff, great atmosphere.
I've been a member of World Gym for many years, I love the gym and it's location...but I have throughly enjoyed Sonia, she is so pleasant, inviting and takes time to care. This Gym has never looked so clean, everytime I have walked into the gym she is cleaning, arranging and making sure the business presents itself to well. Sonia is the only one who has given a personal touch to World Gym for me.
The price is perfect but the gym has alot of damaged or worn down machines. I can tell they been improving some machines cushions. But another thing that ticks me is the dumbbell are so terrible organized. The way they set the weight limits from one side to the other is so disorganized. Also they haven't fixed one of the mirrors in over 2 years which is pretty sad .......see the picture I posted

This place is great. Price is excellent and location is convenient for myself that works around the corner. The locker room and bathrooms always seem to be kept as clean as possible with dozens of sweaty people in and out of it every minute. Only problem I have is the class schedule for SPIN, not many options during afternoon/evenings. I use the Function Fitness room and love the coaches and other athletes there, such a great atmosphere.

After 3 years of being a member, I moved away and canceled my account. 2 months later I got an email stating I owed $110. When I called to ask why and pay they stated I never closed my account and owed late fees due to the card being canceled. I asked them to waive the late fees and cancel my account. They said no because I was leaving. However, it should have been canceled already. On top of that they waived multiple for my friend because he didn't cancel same day. After 3 years and no issues, you would expect better service. Especially when they quote a contract that was already fulfilled m as reasoning.

If I could give them no stars I would. Shameful business. Thought I canceled a membership a year ago when I went in and said politely "Hello I would like to cancel my membership since I received a different membership via my work". Was told no problem, a manager isn't here right now but let me scan your ID and sign this form and you'll be all set. I did that. Year later they are calling and threatening to send it to a debt collector, saying I owe $500+. No paper work on file, no trace of the sheet that was scanned and printed with my personal ID on it. Shameful. Ownership wont do anything nor will the managers. Had to go to the Greece location to cancel and once I got there was told managers were all at the East ave location. Went to East Ave and was told the proper way to cancel is 2 months notice and $40 and that no documents or history of files were on my record when I said I was give a form a year prior before the phone call. When I asked how that is my fault that I was provided the wrong form by their employee and was told that I was all set they had no response other than that they had NOTHING on my file, not the copy of my personal ID nor the sheet I signed. This place is a joke. Reporting it to the General Attorneys office and I suggest all you people here with similar stories do the same.

I would personally rate World Gym Greece East ave a one-star. The reasoning to my rating is due to the fact that I was an employee for this company for a while now at least I want to stay 3 years. I worked hard for this company at both locations as they were short-staffed at East Avenue knowing I work a full-time job at Greece location and a mother of two, I went ahead and picked up some hours at the East Avenue location to help them out. They then decided for some odd reason to have this lady Tina West off Cali run their business. As at first we were not all aboard this ship, but we took it in and we went with the flow. Then we noticed how this lady moved. The cleaner one time left early, his job was completed and but he wasn't really well-trained if you add my personal opinion on to it. So therefore when his list of things were completed he left. That day she came back from the manager's meeting she made a bold statement that he was going to be fired. Then she asked me and Miss Rachel to go ahead and clean the machines, at that time I did not even clock out for my break so I kindly requested for me to take my 30 minute break and then utilize my last hour to clean the machines knowing that's not even my job title. Miss Tina then decided to ask me to go home because I didn't do as she pleased when she wanted it done. Although if I did not clock out for my break she would have written me up any who. From that moment on I felt the environment got a little hostile. I ended up clocking out and just going home, but the next day I noticed a change in our schedule. She took me from 40 hours and drop me down to 10, and then from 10 she dropped me down to four hours. Knowing I'm a single mother of two by myself, she knew a little bit of my background of my history for her to do this to me was so unfair. For her to talk about the owner talking about Ron sember dot-dot-dot and ways many of us probably have already known. I didn't sign no employee handbook therefore I could speak about this business as much as I want, I can also talk about the sexual harassment, the favoritism the racism Let's Get Serious... everyone talks about everyone there's so much drama in that place to be honest with you I've gotten contact with so many different members that said since I've left the place is changed and became a dead zone... The only reason why I'm making this review is because I worked hard for them for so many years at both locations and as a job is trying to contact them they are trying to stay that I never even worked for them and or act like they're not in the office and I feel like that's messed up because as a person who has worked there and worked very hard for them and sold memberships made people happy etc etc I find it very very very disrespectful that they can't even let them know how hard I worked for them! I've been without a job since December of 2017 it is now February 2018 after application after epic late after application I called and they said they have not received a call back not once from World Gym Greece or east. How was ashame you guys run your business.

I have walked past her a dozen times in the last weeks and never a word just a miserable face. I have been a member for a long time and if it wasn't for the girls at desk I would look elsewhere. The entire tone of the gym is now different when you enter it and when she is around.
I've been going to World Gym for almost two years and have no complaints! Staff is very friendly, helpful, and the facility is always clean. The gym is affordable and they have great hours!
IM SO EXCITED TO SAY TODAY MARKS MY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY FOR MY MEMBERSHIP AT WORLD GYM GREECE! HONESTLY, I HAVE ENJOYED MY SELF TO THE FULLEST AT THIS CLUB. FROM THE FRONT STAFF TO THE PLAYROOM TO THE TRAINERS AND CLASSES... EVEN THE MAINTENCE. THEY ALL ROCK! THIS PLACE ROCKS! IT HAS HELPED ME ACCOMPLISH SO MANY GOALS. I TOLD MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND FEW OF THEM MADE THE LIFE CHANGING CHOICE TO SIGN UP TOO! THEN WORLDS GAVE ME A FREE ADDITONAL MONTHS ADDED TO MY MEMBERSHIP FOR EACH REFFERED CUSTOMER. HOW AWESOME IS THAT!

I was told I couldn't cancel over the phone or online. They have an extensive website, the only reason you can't cancel online is so that they can make it harder for you to cancel. And continue to suck up your electronic funds transfer. I was told I could mail a letter, seriously?! mail a letter?? who does that?
The tanning booths are Hot, and the front desk staff especially, Brittany shes is so professional...

Awesome place. Catch me on the pull up bar doing muscleups and handstand pushups. Great place !!
