It was a quiet place. Worked out left. . I was a member here for a year and a half. Facilities at the Irving Plaza gym are pretty bad. The AC went out for months during the summer, I once helped the manager and a trainer catch a cockroach in the turf area, the steam room is constantly broken, and I'm pretty sure I got athletes foot in the locker room.... more
Their music could be quite traumatic . However, it is a good place to workout.. Hi I think the GYM is wonderful the only thing that it needs is a air cleaner or a push air system they also should change the carpet too much dust the air quality is very poor and this produce cancer if they fix this I would join this GYM big time.... more
Do not go with NYSC- THEY ARE THIEVES! I've been trying to cancel my membership for 2 months and wasn't able to because you have to go in person. They were not able to accommodate the fact that I was not able to come in person.... more
Terrible policy. I bought a sweater and wanted to exchange it for a smaller size. The Manager refused to do so, unreal! Tags were attached and I also had my receipt. I had the most terrible experience at this location.... more

Pros: Much less busy if you know when to go, generally between 10 and noon. Staff is pretty friendly, the place typically kept up well. Cons: Not directed at the gym/staff but holy cow the members are comprised of awful people.... more

'To be a Gym' NOT the cleanest place especially the bathroom and room where classes are held. The cleaning people DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CLEAN! NEED NEW CLEANERS!! When you walk in the gym it NEVER smells clean.... more

It is a small but good community gym. just the best of the best. i wish it was close to the city, or if they have more suitable public transportation. but as far as the gym goes a remarkable place to workout... more

There has been no hot water for over three weeks, nobody can predict when it will be back, and there is no extra cleaning protocol during a pandemic. Equipment is broken for months and the 50lb weights disappeared sometime in the spring.... more
You get what you pay for... The nicest club in the area. Great Equipment and clan. The other clubs in the area like NYSC and Crunch are a dump. All the trainers are nice except for the weird Asian ones and the black one.... more

Very good! Very fancy. Best branch of NYSC in the city. I travel from midtown just to use the Netflix powered treadmills. The weight room is huge and spacious. Whatever anyone complained about before is fixed.... more
