I have been coming to Lucille's on and off (due to moving out of state) for 8+years now! There is new equipment and the group classes, etc. are great. I go about 5 times a week and can honestly say it is one of the better gyms in queens. Love the variety of classes and instructors, they really push you to your limit! If you are looking for a full body workout, that will have you covered in sweat by the end of the class, taking one of Ovidio and Evelyn's classes is a must! They are great at providing modifications when necessary, and walk around during the class fixing your form. Front desk has also been helpful and attentive. Definitely recommend! #HereforLR

The level of customer service is terrible. I joined about two years ago and was initially happy. Once they got taken over the prices went up. I was fine with the increases but then they started with the different charges. I tried cancelling multiple times and they gave me the runaround and cancellation still entails a 45 day notice on top of a cancellation charge. I ended up just paying it off because I can't deal with them anymore. If you have the annual plan, it's even more.
In the gym, the treadmills are always out of service. If one happens to go out of service, it takes them months to repair. I submitted requests online to their main site and still noticed months later, the machines were still down, even after being tended to. For the price we're paying, I feel the opportunities are lacking in this location.
The best thing about women's gyms is that you avoid the posturing that sometimes happens at co-ed gyms. Clean, air conditioned, but not nearly enough bathrooms. Also, if there are personal trainers they don't push them hard enough. Been going for months and keep forgetting to ask. Most gyms let you know right away and the trainers hustle a little for customers.
Honestly- if you don't get the 25$/MO deal, I just don't feel it's worth it. Don't get me wrong- the place is always super clean and orderly, they have a cute Lil sauna; the manager is awesome- after just casual convo about health, organics, etc etc, she gave me a whole box of plant based protein powders FOR FREE! Not bad not bad

The only reason I don't give the club a 5 star rating is because on Fridays they open at 7AM instead of 6AM and this is very inconvenient for me. I don't understand what is the difference between Monday and Friday, I still need to make it to work by 9AM. I joined this gym in 2014 and it has improved so much!! They have so many new machines, including the stairmaster, that they didn't have back then. They also have plenty of free weights. My only recommendation is cut back on the row machines, I think 4 is too much and they take so much space!

Main (1st) floor has the large studio, ellipticals, stationary bycicles, and treadmills. Basement has locker rooms, a small sauna, weight rooms and more treadmills and elliptical machines. There's also space for mat works, and rowing machines. Their classes range from cardio, zumba, pilates, piyo, and other high intensity workouts. There'salso personal trainers. I've been coming here since 2014 and I like it. I don't really talk to the front staff, so I've got nothing to say about customer service. I wish that they would have a greater variety of classes, like more yoga or even belly dancing classes. The short lived Barre class was not as good as it could have been as there were no bars to hold onto, I guess the gym didn't think it would make sense to invest in some.

This is the worst Gym ever stay away from it. They give you a problem for everything I am trying to cancel my monthly payments, I don't even have a contract and they don't want to help me in any way. I moved out of NY and the only way to go cancel my subscription is in person. RIP OFF

They kept taking money from my credit card twice the amount i was suppose to pay. Plus, afterwards when i wanted to cancel the membership, they gave me a really hard time and kept me on the membership for five extra months. I had to pay for it while i wasnt even going. Finally when they approved my cancellation, they took an extra $30 for the next month because apparently I "didnt notify them in advance" which i did...multiple times...for more than five months. The supervisor(?) is very insensible and extremely disrespectful.
The manager has ZERO customer service experience. She was very snobby and acted as if she was being inconvenienced. My fitnesss needs/questions were not statisfied. I would not recommend this gym to anyone.
Left my EXPENSIVE jacket, called right away asked a FRONT DESK EMPLOYEE to hold it they said okay. Next day I went to claim it they said they put it in lost and found and someone stole it. IT WASNT SUPPOSED TO BE PUT IN THE LOST AND FOUND BECAUSE I CLAIMED IT BEGORE ANYTHING HAPPENED. ONE OF THE FRONT DESK STOLE IT AND THEY THINK I FORGOT ABOUT IT BUT I DIDNT.
A nice gym. Its clean and I always get the machine I want. The managment is sales driven only. Seems like they are always pushing sales for "today only".
Be careful with the membership and the one day free trial. They might trick you with doubled membership numbers and mode it impossible to cancel.
I had a membership with Lucille . I cancelled the membership paid all final fees that was due . I was told that I do not owe anything anymore . The workers there never cancelled my membership. Now Lucille was bought over by Town Sports International and they sent me a collection letter . So because Lucille did not do their job and never updated their records now TSI have wrong records and wants money .... So guess what I will see them in small claims cause I have my records to back it up!!!!
Total rip off just because it's a women's gym and they have a tiny cute lil sauna. Credit must be given where it's due though, and they are super clean and super orderly. The manager is awesome and she gave me a whole box of protein powders FOR FREE! Love it
Clean and spacious! LR is one of the best deals in the city and the classes are great. I love that its women only.
Horrible experience with the costumer service at this place, they charged my daughters debit card for $200 "by mistake" over a month now and no one seems to be able to process a simple refund for this unauthorized charges or care enough to call us back... TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
They were great two years ago when I signed up...I go back after two years since I had two pregnancies in less than two years...and they dont have a day care...damn! I didn't have kids before and this place had a daycare for moms...and now that I have kids they removed the daycare...
Also they partnered up with nysc and bumped up the rates ...although they did honor my earlier membership rate but I would think with a new major franchise on board they would reduce prices :/

I love this gym. I've been going here for about 3 months now and it's always clean, the classes are great, especially Thursday night kickboxing - can't miss that! I usually go in the evenings and the front desk staff are always so friendly and helpful! I'm always comfortable and I always feel welcomed! Great Gym, highly recommend.
Awesome place, the one in flushing the people were ride af but the staff was good. So I switched to Forest hills, staff is nice but some of the ppl they talk too freaken much on their cell phones extremely loud, they just have no human decency this is something this location needs to work on. Ppl go to the gym to chill and relax by working out why do we have to hear bird ass bitches.
Good location. Clean and open later than other Lucille Roberts. Staff is also much nicer than other locations.
