Great group classes are always clean.
Today was my first time visiting the club. The 10am pilates class with weights was great! Jeremy at the front desk was very helpful with class information and my trial membership.
Zahq is a truly amazing trainer he displayed great demonstrations of fun workouts that help motivated you And gave GREAT NUTRITIONAL FACTS and information for meet the trainer day. I Recommend you visit this location to see for your self
This street level sports club located in east harlem is kind of expensive for this area. The only downside is the lower level is that there is no natural light and there seems like at times there is no air circulation. It can get stifling hot and sweaty smelling. I guess that's a small price to have to deal with in order to get in shape right.
Nice place, clean, organized and not too many people. Machines are good, they have different weights, they offer different classes for everyone. They have lockers, showers and a vending machine. Staff is friendly and I believe you have to pay for trainers separately. Membership is pretty cheap, like $35 and more if you want special passes. Opens real early like 5am

Have been a NYSC member for a couple of years. Although I am able to work out without an issue, I feel that the gym needs to update the machines and other exercise equipments.

This location is well kept and nicely maintained with a super friendly staff, the member base feels like a sincere, solid, warm gym community. The exercise classes, trainers and instructors are super solid.
This gym has become my home. I attend classes here 5 times a week and they are always challenging. The staff remembers my name and provides engaging experiences every time I visit. The trainers are friendly and offer advice, even if you aren't scheduled for a session. Class instructors are always energized and give me a challenge every time. I recommend this gym if you are looking for a safe, positive environment that is clean, affordable and in the neighborhood!

I don't know who the girl is at the front desk on Friday afternoons but her attitude is disgusting. I walked in ready to check in and she wasn't at the desk. So I grabbed the scanner to check myself in and she comes out of no where saying she's got it, I don't need to do her job for her. Disgusting way to talk to your customers. This club has no Managers that I know of and things rarely ever get fixed. I've been with nysc a long time think my time is up with them.

The one I go to on 116th is great not too big but you can workout and not wait 30 mins for a machine.
This location specifically is the best gym in the area. Much better than Blink or Planet Fitness. Tha being said, it could defiantly use some updates. Overall, it's the best pick in the neighbourhood

One of the last gyms with barbells, bench press (free not assisted) and dumbbells passed 60lbs. Love this gym while others push the 200 minimum treadmill agenda.
Do not waste your money. Very unprofessional management. If you have any concerns don't expect them to get back to you or try to help you. They continued to charge me after I cancelled.
The staff is friendly and so are most of the people who work out here. It loses a star for having very low ceilings in the basement (making overhead lifting and pullups problematic). It loses the second star for being one of the onlt NYSC locations I know that does NOT have a sauna or steam room...very annoying.
The maintenance staff should get a raise wow this is one of the cleanest NYSC I've ever seen!
This place is great and the staff is very helpful. I will be returning and extending my membership.
