Triomph is a no-frills garage gym with a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Skip it if you're not willing to push yourself. Jack is the best and he'll whip you into shape.

I've been going to Triomph for 1.5 years, and I love it! After trying to go the gym on my own for over 10 years, I admitted to myself that I wasn't making any progress on my goals. The trainers at Triomph put me on a program where I go two times a week and I'm happy to say I see results! (Though I've attended several yoga classes, I mainly take advantage of the personal training that they offer.)

While most people that go to the gym want to lose or maintain weight, I wanted to gain some. I'd been skin and bone for the first 30 years of my life and I was afraid it might be too late, but in the time I've worked with the trainers, I've gained over 25 pounds (mostly in upper-body muscle) while maintaining a healthy body fat percentage. And this was all while keeping my mostly-vegetarian lifestyle (something important to me!)

The fitness assessment and nutritional session that comes free with personal training has been enlightening. With the periodic updates, I can see hard data that shows me what I've improved and where I should put my effort. I already feel healthy, but the math nerd in me enjoys seeing the numbers, plus I get to forward all this on to my doctor for my medical files!

It's been a lot of hard work, but my trainers keep me motivated and wanting to come back for more. I can't recommend them enough. My only regret is that I wish I hadn't waited so long to start!

I went there because my friend told me to go. The trainers were all into themselves and prouncing around like peacocks, the staff was rude and discourtoeus, and the owner manager, (who is obese by the way!) was harrassing me the whole time to buy something! If you want to walk to to the shadiest part of brooklyn and get your back hurt, this is the place to go. I'm sticking with Body Elite. At least they have real equipment!

Lace, I think you are probably refering to the fitness collective! not to be confused with triomph. Same Trainers yes, but, better service and better values. I recomend triomph, who cares what the managment looks like! what I'm looking for (and have found) is that the trainers there, motivate me. I see results and that's why I keep going.
