The staff at Alana Life & Fitness are extremely pleasant and helpful. I enjoy my workouts here and their classes are amazing.

Definitely negative stars if I could.
Had surgery in March, went to cancel, was told it's a process and it takes time. Whatever. Didn't bother.
Few months go by and I realize I'm still getting charged. I call back to complain, was told the manager will get back to me. No one called.
Thought it was cancelled, NOPE .
Got another charge AND for $10 more than what I signed up for !!
Called after that charge and spoke to the manager and she had the guts to say " a lot of people say this but didn't actually cancel" like ... what ?
And 'No hun, my girls know to leave a note when people call' . So I lied again apparently lmao .
THEN she goes to ask me if I want to come back ... ????
Best of all, she shut on my face after 'I'm the only one at the desk and this is going no where, I have to go' . CLICK. She shut.

Great atmosphere. The trainers always make sure you know exactly what you're doing and work what's needed for what you want to achieve. Always feel great leaving there!
Super nice place with a really friendly and easy going environment! I switched from a different local gym and was so happy I did. I also did 4 months of personal training with Maria who was WONDERFUL and have seen great results this far!
Literally the rudest customer experience I've witnessed. A lot of hidden fees that weren't told up front and a lot of attitude shown on the phone. The gym is nice but not worth a rude demeanor of the employees, take your business elsewhere.
I've been a member for many years, however I'm getting more and more unhappy with the gym conditions. First, it's unbearably hot which makes it impossible to do any cardio, after bringing the issue to the stuff, they said there is nothing they can do and central a.c. system need to be fixed but no one is fixing anything for months after multiple complaints buy many members. Second, the celing is leaking right on the equipment and most of trademills are broken. Lastly, they rarely clean the floor, u can see hair and dust all over.
I love the gym because of the amazing stuff, great classes and instructors Ira, Roxy, Yaya, Marisa , but i can't enjoy their classes due to the hit. Very disappointed.
Nice clean faculty but parking makes it a non option.
I like that it's all woman. I don't like that they don't show you around until you have a personal trainer and even at that showed more strengthen exercise which was goid, but not knowing how to use the machine although they say ask. They also so far not healing for senior discount not accimodating

I've been to this gym a few times within the past few months and it's pretty similar to other Lucille Roberts gyms I frequent. Being a gold member, I have the choice to frequent different Lucille gyms that is very convenient. I love that they have some lockers right on the workout areas. The instructors are usually great and like everything else, you get what you put in. I don't get caught up with who's taking the class or the other petty stuff that bothers people. There is just one floor with the middle area for the classes and the surrounding area are the weights and machines which are fairly small areas. Thankfully I go in the mornings and it's crowded but not packed for the classes. I love their attempt at filtered water when it works.
Lucille Roberts has never been known for their state of the arts facilities. However, their facilities are affordable, clean and the staff are cool. If it's crowded I find a space to get my body in shape while I'm there and keep it moving until it's time for me to return

Horrible experience after cancelling membership within 3 weeks in Nov. 2017. Now I have to pay for an annual membership of $69.99 for 2018 when I am not even a member anymore. Horrible and would not recommend this place at all.
I like LR because you can workout here without feeling judged. There are a good amount of equipment and classes.
Lucille Roberts, Bay Ridge location, has to be my favorite one yet! I've never seen such a clean, organized and overall, friendly gym! From the classes, to the new equipment, to the sauna, Lucille Roberts never fails to provide their gym members with the best! Also, a plus has to be their front desk lady. I believe her name is Yasmeen (hope I'm spelling that right.) She's super sweet! Great person to be greeted by as you walk in. 5 stars for this Lucille Roberts location!!
I have been with this Lucille Roberts for almost 4 years now and I absolutely love it! The staff is amazing, always willing to help, and provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. They renovated recently and now have all these great new machines and work out stations. Thankful for a women's gym in bay ridge!!
I've been a member for several years and after the renovation about a year ago this place is amazing! I usually just attended whichever class fits my schedule during the day, but I also appreciate the newer equipment! The only opportunity for improvement would be to offer more classes throughout the day as the current ones are filled beyond capacity normally.
Lucille Roberts Bay Ridge is very friendly and courteous. The administrative staff are very helpful and welcoming. The instructors are all professional
And knowledgeable and exciting. Specifically, Roxie!! No matter which class she is giving she puts her personality behind her power to motivate and makes every class worth taking! She makes all the hard work seem easy and something we all want to do!

Its a brand new club with state of the art equipment, sauna, the best classes especially zumba, you get a lot for your money.
