There are not enough stars for this place - truly. I have been a member now for almost 6 months, and couldn't be happier with the results I am seeing, but most of all, the atmosphere of this training facility/gym, and that is what I'd like this review to focus on - because there is nothing like the feel at FF. It can be intimidating walking into a new gym at first, and even more so during a first class; worrying about "keeping up", etc. This is NOWHERE near the case here. The owner, Dave, was so incredibly friendly, warm, and thorough during my first tour, and I was immediately impressed when he mentioned that each client has a note section regarding any physical injuries/concerns, or medical issues, which all trainers have access to; this provides EVERY trainer in the facility with the knowledge of each individual in the class, and their personal needs. It has been frustrating for me over the years going to different classes having to re-explain to each trainer that I can't do certain exercises because of knee/lower back issues, etc., so I was relieved to hear this. It showed me right off the bat that this was a facility ran by PEOPLE, not corporate machines where the concern is "get em in and get em out...". Whether you are in a small group or a large group, you are always receiving the feel of individual attention as a result. There are people who start out here at all levels and ages and walks off life, and everyone is taken care of accordingly and with a patient manner by all the trainers, as well as fellow members! Even though I've been a regular for 6 months, I often times need a refresher on how to do a certain exercise, or a reminder of a circuit that a trainer JUST went over because it is 6am and I'm still mentally asleep, LOL, and everyone is extremely helpful and will demonstrate again. Because of the welcomed/community/teamwork atmosphere at Fit Foundry, I never feel as if I'm "forcing myself to go workout" - I always enter with the feeling that I'm going to kick some ass today, surrounded by awesome people, many of which I now call friends! ::insert "Cheers" quote about wanting to go somewhere where everyone knows your name:: Thank you so very much for opening Fit Foundry, Dave, and reminding us that kindness, and treating people as PEOPLE (not a bunch of randoms taking a class who need to get in and out) ..., goes a long way. Thank you to the amazing trainers at Fit Foundry who work alongside Dave (Sarah, Eddie, Max, & Dan) for all that you do, and for creating a true sense of community for all of us members.
