This gym is a big fraud and scam. They kept charging my credit card several months after I canceled my membership. If you sign up under a group plan, they'll charge your card for the entire group. Be careful when you give them your credit card info, they'll fill it up with fraudulent charges.You may not be able to stop these charges even when you legally end your membership. If you have to go there, use a prepaid card.

I would like to recommend my personal trainer his name is Ryan.He did a fantastic job encouraging me to reach my goal.He works diligently along side me, I have never met someone with so much patience.Thank you very much sir.
I was a member there for a few months, but because they consistently don't open on time during the week (5AM) I had to cancel and join Blink (across the street). I can't keep waiting until 5:10-5:30 to get into the gym because their staff just doesn't show up to work on time. I have to get my workout done and go to work, I can't waste valuable time. I know other people that have a membership to Blink just in case 24 hour doesn't open on time because it happens so often. People have told management, but they just don't care because I guess they're making enough money.
Blink opens on time (or early) so I'm happy.
Derill-Sincere my old trainer from Hoboken works here cause of him I was able to lose over 80 lbs he really helped me doing a time I felt there was no hope his 1on1 training program got me fast results with his famous cycle class I'll be joining this gym now that I'm back from London it's a 25 min drive but he's worth it I see the bad reviews on this gym but I'm taking the chance

One of the worst gyms i can say. 24 hour fitness Jersey city NJ has no bloody benches to workout. There were 3 initially and 2 broke. They have not fixed them up for more than a month. Dont join them.
This is certainly a 5 star gym!!! First of all the staff is awesome!!! Secondly this 3 floor facility is loaded with workout equipment, televisions, and have several different classes from yoga to MMA at no extra charge that you can take that is included in your $35 membership!!! Now last thing to definitely mention is that when you're done with your workout they have the best shower room I've ever seen in a gym!! I love my gym!!!
False advertisement, made a suggestion to change name to "19 hour fitness". Great gym though inside with a lot of space.

I worked out here for about 3-4 months. I was told it was $35 flat rate per month when I signed up.. A few months later I started receiving charges on my bank account for $50-$100 being withdrawn by the gym. When I called, the trainer who signed me up, and no one else could figure out what they were for, until I spoke to the manager. The entire time I worked out there it was a dirty facility with no weights being re-racked. I was promised a free training session and each time I tried to organize one I was simply told to wait, or just forgotten about completely. I do not recommend this gym to anyone. They have plenty of space but that is about it.

Be careful of their scam! I went to sign up for month to month subscription, they made me sign 1 year contract.
They asked for signature on the computer and the sales man said he will send me email with details, I was not aware that it's a contract.
After you complaint, they will tell you that you signed it!
AVOID THEM AT ALL COST.
They have all kind of group clases...I don't give it 5 stars because there is not swimming pool..but they have everything else...
The boot camp class by Sincere on Saturday is better then my cross fit I use to pay $150 a month for words can't explain his spin class the gym is always clean to
They push sales so hard! Didn't even have a chance to workout because sales man came up to me and I spent one good hour listening to his talk and about what an amazing sales it has right now. That's not they way to get people in.
This gym is just as trashy as all the other globo gyms. It smells HORRIBLY. The basement is the grossest part of the building. Stench of un-showered disgusting men. Poor equipment. Wifi is terrible. I know the trainers and the staff are all severely underpaid. This gym is the worst. Do not sign up here. Ever.
Not one of the best gyms you'll find.But it's pretty good when compared to other options available near Journal Square area. I go the gym fairly regularly and I'm constantly advertised to spend money and opt for personal trainers. Feels like the gym employees force me everytime.
Adequate equipment, but could use some more. Not very crowded. Well maintained locker rooms. Very friendly staff.
I am not very athletic however I prefer going to gym on regular basis. 24 hour fitness was perfect for my location and the staff is very friendly. They were very open about enrollment , unlike other gyms where constraints shows up when u want to change ur plan or cancel it. The group classes are amazing and are moulded as per your age and requirement. Trainers are very friendly too. Very neat and clean and has ample locker space.
The GM of this gym (Andrea) is the biggest reason to go here. She is incredible she helped me out of a very difficult contract situation with the corporate office and is great to all of the people in the gym. You can find weights any where but you can't always find decent human beings. Thank you so much!

A mixed bag. Convenient. Some of the staff are great. Inconsistent equipment maintenance. Many members treat the gym like their personal garbage dump. Hard for me to recommend this gym.
Everyone is pretty friendly but even though the gym looks big on the outside its not that big inside.
I wish they had better ventilation system. Staff is good & friendly.
